Of course not but I wonder if it works both ways? When the government close my local post office could I invoice them for the mileage and time wasted driving to the nearest town?

to be honest road tax will never be done away with road tax is just another way for the government to make more money and yes people say its for road repair and other stuff the truth is its a lie what do you think income tax is for its for road repairs and other things the public need so the government is a very sorry government who doesnt care like they pretend too.

I think that if they introduce pay per mile they will have to drop road tax.

I Know it's obvious but petrol duty is already a mileage tax and we don't need another layer of bureaucracy to collect it.
As usual the country people without proper public transport will be hit the hardest

No way! They have just announced compulsory payments into state pension but did not cut the National Insurance to help fund it.

No way in hell Democrats will ever cut taxes. Democrats are about taxing America to death.
If you wanted lower taxes then you shouldn't have voted Democrat.

why do you think they have voted themselves a 66% payrise, to compensate for the extra taxes so they dont feel the pinch, you are dealing with bloodsuckers, but they dont suck their own blood they suck yours.
