I thought that global warming was about to bake us all into Tater Tots. Maybe the "scientists" are wrong about global warming and those "scientists" that during the 1970s predicted a new ice age were right.

Actually, global warming would likely disrupt the climate to a point that it CAUSED it to be cold in certain areas.

It's a little too difficult to explain to the layman. Try watching The Day After Tomorrow.

That's global cooling.

Which explains low temperatures. (Our fault)

Global warming explains higher temperatures. (Our fault)

The voyager spacecraft is responsible for the warming on Jupiter which has caused a second storm just like the orgininal Great Red Spot to appear. (Our fault)

And also, the volcanic activity and forest fires and solar flares and dust from micro-asteroids and comets. (Our fault)

We cause global warming and global cooling and solar warming and solar cooling. And we also cause galactic slowing. We are actually creating friction against the inert gases which permeate space, causing the galaxy to slow down at a rate of 100,000 kph every galactic year.

You don't get it do you, if the weather is unusually hot it is because of global warming, if it is unusually cold that is also because of global warming. so until the weather is perfect(it never has been) all the time for the next thousand years you better get use to their logic.

i think that not every effect of global warming has to do with getting "warmer"; it is also related to temperature changes in general, and regions having weather that is unusual for their region. also, if you check historically, the snow in vegas is probably not that weird; weather goes in cycles. i bet there was a snowy winter in vegas sometime in the past 50 years.
