I won a judgement in court 3 months ago and have not yet been paid. I filed the judgement in at the Monroe County PA court house to be on file. Hopefully this will get back to the credit bureaus. What can i do now? You cant granish wages in PA and the sherrif told me that a sherrifs sale on his property usually doenst bring in any money. Anything else i could try? Thanks

I did, they told me to file the judgement with the county, that was the only advice they could give me.

Yes i am sure there is no garnishment. The only PA garnishment is for unpaid taxes and outstanding child support.

I don't practice in Pennsylvania, but I would be shocked to learn that there are no garnishments.

I suggest that you consult with a Pennslyvania attorney. A quick search of the web on the Pennslyvania website showed some documents relating to the State of Pennslyvania processing wage garnishments, so I suspect that they are possible. You will need to consult with a Pennslyvania attorney who can advise you on the procedure.

For a referral to an attorney, consult your local or state bar association.

Speak with a Income Tax Pro. There is a form you can fill out with this judgement and file against this person and garnishment proceedings will gegin and the money will be deducted from his tax returns and the beauty of it he won't know until he gets his refund check if he gets one at all. SURPRISE

I am surprised that a wage garnishment does not apply in Pa.
Did you check with a Pa. attorney?

Report back to the court that issued the judgment and inform them that you have not been paid.

You can find out where the judgment debtor has a bank account and levy against it.
