Yes - it is a bit daft having international politics coming under "embassies and consulates"

But not US domestic and International politics. Why not Indian politics, australian politics, US politics and other fora for the main countries.

international relations and international law. how countries get along, and the laws that they abide by.

comparative politics (this is when political scientists compare states, like a biologist comparing two animals to find the common traits of that animal). you could compare different countries with public health insurance schemes to find out what system works best.

political philosophy and ideologies. liberalism, conservatism, socialism, communism, fascism, etc...

Maybe then it wouldn't seem like the liberals are trying to air dirty laundry all the time.

Better yet, they should just make a "country tag" so users can sort questions by whatever countries they wish to look at.
