It's almost as if she is obsessed with my children and my family in general. Despite two restraining orders file and granted against her she continues to stalk, call, leave notes for an in general harass my children and myself. She is also a felon who served time in Danbury prison, and is currently out on bond for commercial burglary in Burbank, CA. She has a long history of credit card theft, forgery, and bank fraud. Even though all of this information is public she continues to deny her real identity.

For all you who say we should move - we just moved in and paid an enormous deposit so I would be breaking my lease and losing about $5400 in deposits. And it's a woman who's stalking us...we do have a restraining order. I just don't understand why she won't leave us alone....

call the police, get her arrested. given her record, she could elevate to do something worse to your family. she is probably on parol and if you see any beer bottles outside her apartment, she's violating it. you should get away from your apartment whenever you can, leave when it escalates or even better just ignore it. if she gets worse, call the police for harassment and violating her restraning order, this probably will put her back in jail and away from your family, stay safe and stay away.

There are some great arguments here. Great question Curious. As a retired Cop it may surprise some that tend to go the way of Mountain Man on this issue. There is a problem with a person paying their debt to society, but living the rest of their lives as a second class citizen, because we forget that they can't vote either. I can see where they would have a lack of loyalty to the community and this could lead to a new violation. I also see some credence with keeping firearms out of the hands of those of convicted violent crimes, which by the way we already do with those convicted of Domestic Violence. However, considering how easy it is for a person to get set up on a Domestic Violence rap, I have some doubts about this law. I could maybe see a 1 year waiting period, or something similar. What I fear the most is that the government is figuring out a way to disarm the public one segment at a time. Just look at their successful campaign to ostracize tobacco users. When they destroy the rights of one segment, when will they be after yours. A person charged with killing someone while drunk driving can eventually get their license back and buy a new car. Isn't there something hypocritical about this. I don't see any big changes in the near future, but this makes for healthy debate. I think our legal system, like any good church, needs a good reformation on occasion. I would strongly advise everyone to stop joining the government in stripping the rights from other groups, regardless if you like them or not. Otherwise you are just a tool of the propaganda.

Go tell the police. If that doesn't work go to the DA between the two, surely they will do something.

Stop asking why and be proactive about this situation. You should pack your things and move far from this psycho criminal so you and your children can be safe. Reality is the justice system wont do anything until someone is hurt or killed.

If she violates a restraining order and you have proof, go to the police. She could be arrested. Also if she is on parole or probation and she gets arrested, she goes back to prison.
