or should Bush simply allow the Division Commanders currently in- country the ability to do their jobs?
The ROEs our troops labor under are ridiculous... no fewer than seven conditions must be met in order for our military to engage the enemy...
Can't blame this totaly on the libs

I hate the thought of more troops coming home in body bags, and more mothers weeping for their sons. Russia's solution in Afghanistan was always to send more troops. It didn't work there and it will not work in Iraq.

I believe Bush has already made up his mind to send more troops to Iraq. When he does this he also needs to paint a big X on their back because all they will be is targets. All he is doing is stalling to appear as if he is trying to get all the info. he can. He has never been interested in anyone's opposite opinion and I see no reason why he would change his strips now. He is still staying the course, just with more targets.

Well...... lets get our troops out and make Iraq a large Crater... then keep an eye on the rotation of the earth and see the nuclear fallout. People today live in japan and we dropped a nuke there...and our troops came home then. If the troops stay in Iraq we should send more troops (strength in numbers) finish the job and get out!

No, I am not excited. "When they stand up, we will stand down." If that is our policy we better make Iraq the 51st state because Americans will never leave. 1 - give soldiers clear mission. 2 - set timetable for withdraw. 3 - support a dictator for Iraq who hates Al Queda. 4 - protect Kurds from venegeful Turkey and Iran.
