I’m not American, but I follow US politics & current affairs

The US Dollar has been losing value throughout 2006. The American people are the most debt burden in the world. The US deficit is the biggest in the world, with record military spending and record borrowing from foreign nations. Iran is moving its oil dealing to the Euro, with other nations to perhaps follow.

The US economy is ready for perhaps the biggest collapse in history. This would cause panic sale of stock, panic cash withdrawals from banks, business collapse, civil unrest, loss of property, bankruptcy on an unprecedented scale and perhaps Police needed to control the panic.

Would we see the suspension of the constitution? Katrina let Bush remove Posse Comitatus, so would there be Martial Law and troops on the streets? Would FEMA take control, set-up disaster villages for any people made homeless?

Your views? Be paranoid & pessimistic if you wish.

Washington and Monroe believed the United States should not become involved in European affairs.
Is it possible to follow the same policy today?
Why or why not?
what are some examples of recent news events to support your opinion?

Reality Check 101: Generally speaking, things are BETTER than they've ever been in the history of the world. If you disagree with this then either you're clinically depressed, in denial, or are so wrapped up in your own viewpoint that you refuse to let reality intrude.

Assuming this is so, why do so many left-wingers spend so much time crying and whining instead of going out and WORKING on the problems they see - are they lazy or what? I'd really like to know. I mean, there are PLENTY of problems to be worked.

Wouldn't it be more effective to actually DO something instead of complaining all the time - most especially about things and situations over which they have no control whatsoever. I mean, a lot of the kvetching seems more indicative of personal problems than it does of any real interest in making a difference.

Left-wingers - help us out here and explain this to us if you can.

I want to support President Bush in his war on terrorism.
I'm just curious: I know that when the Iraq war finally ends, Bush will have completed eliminated terrorism from the earth forever, however, how long do you think it will take? 5 years until terrorism is all gone from the world? 10 years?
What's your opinion?

I don't support Bush or Israel and I wouldn't vote for the democratic party because they're not socialist enough for me. But if you haven't noticed, the 'Holocaust Revisionist' movement is growing and Iran is taking advantage of the split in western politics to spread hate and fear.

I'm not really interested in whether you're a Jew, Muslim, HIndu, Christain, Satanist or what, it just baffles belief how people are spreading this nonsense, can we please unite on this one issue before the hate mongering gets out of control. Thanks.

I was watching a special on Ed Brooks yesterday and of course fell in love. On both parties, African-Americans are being ignored. Where is the health-care reform? When will urban educational issues become a concern to the government? When will we finally address the plaguing issue of social security? Ed Brooks suggested that perhaps we place our vote with the Republican Party, so that we are not taken for granted.

Far fetched? What do you think??

The Ira is a terrorist organisation that was funded largely by the US. If the US was found to be funding Al Qaeda what would people say about that?

this all started with a miss understanding with a neighbor across the street. they have small kids that r always in the street and i told them about it they did nothing about it so i told the police and my neighbor has been calling the police telling them that there is drug trafficing at my residence officers respond to that call first a female officer (white) came to my house. my wife invited her in she told us of the complaint. she asked if we had drugs? we said no. she asked if she could search? we asked if she had a search warrant she said no. we said no. and advised the officer that she needed to step outside with us. the officer said no i'm not going anywhere. eventually she did.they returned to their cars.i requested that the female officer give me their names .she did .as she was handing me the names the other cop jumps out telling me i'm going to jail.he wanted me to put my hands behind my back.i say i can't (disabled ) put them on front. i was kneed in my knee
