Europe is not our foreign policy issue these days so much as the Middle East is. As far as Europe, about every fifty years or so, we have to go back over there to save their ungrateful asses. It would be nice to become isolationists, but impossible with our dependence on oil and radical Islam growing around the world, including here.

No. Isolation in the modern world is disasterous.
We tried that in the 1930's & it resulted in WW II.
The world is even more dangerous today.
