Indicted for or what the person was charged with when arrested?

Indicment would be announced in the courtroom and as far as charges for an arrest...the police blotter is public record. If you call the police department this individual was arrested at they can only give you the following'

Name of the arrest party (unless a juvenile, then they might be able to but it depends upon the nature of the crime)
Address of the accused.
Date of birth of the accused.
date/time and location of arrest and next court date as well as bond information and the charges levied against them.

Hope that helped.

I don't know what state you are in but in my state we look in Rhode Island Judiciary. It tells you anytime someone has been to court and the disposition of the case. All you need is the last name and a list comes up with the dates of birth. Try judiciary and your state and see what comes up.
