What would be a good compromise so that both South and North are happy and a war is avoid altogether? From my understanding North wants all slaves to be free because they think its morally wrong, as for the South they need slaves for econimical reasons

Then why is he in bed with the Saudis?

I mean, out of all of the middle east countries, Saudi Arabia must be the most terrorist supportive, most theocratic and most radical. There are so many proofs that the Saudis support terrorism (even insurgents in Iraq) that I don't even know where to start.

SO, if Bush/GOP are going to make the statement "We don't negotiate with our enemies and terrorist supporters", then why is he traveling to Saudi Arabia ever few months, holding hands with the Saudi King, inviting his ambassadors to his ranch, etc..?

He's so reluctant to even SPEAK to Syria, Iran, & Lebanon yet he's allying with himself with the Saudi King as if he actually meant good to the United States.

And here are the questions more specifically.

1: Why is he allied to the Saudis a government that supports terrorism but he refuses to even SPEAK to other middle east nations?
2: Why don't republicans openly condemn him for it?
3. Is Bush a hypocrite for doing this?

It is just people just find all the faults in Bush and fail to mention his education programs, and the more jobs he has created. Just step in his shoes and wonder who could do much better with all the decisions and pressure he is under.

Her book, calling liberalism godless and suggesting that the widows of 911 who disagree with her and the president are “witches” who are “enjoying their husband’s death,” is outrageous and untrue. How can she attack the women who lost their husbands on 9/11 and still call herself a “patriot”?

I'm just wondering if an Officer gets tired of saluting back when saluted.
I'll salute an Officer no matter what b/c I respect them but I asked myself if i'd get tired of it if I were your shoes & I wasnt sure if I would or not.

What would happen if one siamese twin were to kill someone but the other had nothing to do with it and there is no way that he could have stopped it from happening? How would they be punished? Would they be punished?

I'm asking because I personally don't know what would happen and I don't think it'd be fair to punish both when the other had nothing to do with it. Then again, I don't think it's fair to let the killer off the hook.

Doesn't it seem like liberals tend to be right? Remember who was against the Iraq War? All the warnings liberals gave (in terms of what would happen) turned out to be exactly correct? Notice they were for things like erradicating slavery, giving women the right to vote, civil rights, and enacting laws to protect children in the workplace? And remember how conservatives have been against all these things? And were blindly for the Iraq war (and completely hostile to anyone who warned them about the end results of starting this war?)
Can't you guys see the writing on the wall?

3 prostitutes found dead in Ipswich in the last week, 2 more missing. Do you think that if prostitution was legalised in the UK in a similar way to the red light district in Amsterdam then prostitutes would have a safer environment and things like this would be less likely to happen.
Could you ever see prostitution ever legalised in the UK?
