What would happen if one siamese twin were to kill someone but the other had nothing to do with it and there is no way that he could have stopped it from happening? How would they be punished? Would they be punished?

I'm asking because I personally don't know what would happen and I don't think it'd be fair to punish both when the other had nothing to do with it. Then again, I don't think it's fair to let the killer off the hook.

properly in different worldwide places siamese twins could maximum possibly the two be punished, however that's a probability for the single twin to do community provider and the different would not. i do no longer think of there substitute into ever the style of case, because of the fact siamese twins are so uncommon and maximum possibly have on no account accomplished the style of element or perhaps concept approximately it.

It wouldn't and I do think about the hypothetical. But if it did happen, if being the important word, then the government would have to debate amongst themselves. Depending on the seriousness of the crime. The president may pardon both. Or in other countries, they may just kill, or punish both. I don't think we have laws for this stuff. They'll just deal with it whenever it happens.

this story is as old as I am and I am almost 70...this is a question that used to be used in law schools many years ago.

the answer is that if they are joined together and can not be separated then there can be only a monetary fine given to the one who committed the crime...they can not execute the offender because it would be murdering the other...likewise you can not imprison the offender without imprisoning the Innocent one. A monetary fine is all that can be given to the offender.

I would assume if one did no try to stop the one doing the murdering, then one would be the murderer and the other one would be accessory to murder.??? But if they were identical twins, then put them both in jail and innocent one will try and kick the guily one's a s s. And there you have it.
