can someone please tell me each amendment and its main purpose? or just some? and what is original jurisdiction?

There are a number of amendments to the Constitution and I would suggest you look up them and thier history. A few of the major ones which are in debate quite frequently are.

1st - Freedom of speech, press, peaceful assembly, peaceful protest, and religion: You basically have these rights as long you do not violate anyone else's rights to privacy or violate the law.

4th- Freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures: Law enforcement has to have a reason to search you and take your stuff

5-6th - Deal with a speedy trial and the right of you not to be forced to say anything that inciminates yourself

10th - All powers not delegated to the Federal government are state power: Any power the Constitution does not give to the Feds belongs to states

Others provide privacy rights, minority rights, women's right to vote, ban (and later repeal the ban) on the production and sale of alcohol, and provide for succession of power.
