The United States is NOT the only country that has to deal with illegal immigration. Almost every country has an issue with it, as there are many reasons for people to move across international borders. However, I decided to do a little searching to find out what other countries are doing.

Did you know that a good number of countries will incarcerate illegals INDEFINITELY for sneaking across their border? Or that some are eventually executed (if caught with drugs)? Did you know that a good number of countries deny ALL services to illegals, including health care (so if you're illegal and get sick, you're screwed)? Did you know that there are even a few countries that have laws declaring illegal border crossers to be considered as an "invading army"? Did you know that most of the countries with that kind of law authorize their military to shoot on sight?

Understand that what the US does to illegals they catch is far NICER than what some of these other countries do.

Is democracy a sham and a fraud on the public nearly all non-democratic nations say it is?

Interesting how only 2 parties alternate power back and forth between themselves.

Is this a planned deception?

I got a few questions for you.

Can anyone explain the midevil warming period? Temperatures then are warmer than they are now. We have proof that vikings once farmed in areas of greenland currently covered in ice. Why were temperatures so high then? Was it the pollution from their "cars"? Or the fossil fuels they burned? Didn't exist then right. It was caused by the same greenhouse affect that is raising our temperatures today.

The answer is water vapor. Statistics shown by the media show the anthropogenic greenhouse effect, or human caused greenhouse effect. There is more to the greenhouse effect than that. It was discovered in 1824 but existed long before that. The anthropogenic greenhouse effect only accounts for .28% of the total greenhouse effect. Water vapor, which is naturally occuring, by far is the largest contributor to the greenhouse effect, which is actually a good thing. Without it our world temperatures would be 30 degrees F lower. This explains our history.

I have noticed that this immigration forum only has around 50 people that keep answering each other, some are pro-immigration and some are not.
The people that are against immigration always argue in terms of economic reasons. But have any of you guys seriously been affected by illegal immigration, I don't want the "they raise my taxes" because that is crap taxes go up regardless. Have any of you been directly affected by the presence of illegals here?
Remember that souther people had the same arguments before the civil war concerning slaves and wheather they should be freed, then again in the 1960s people in the south did not want to end segregation because besides the fact that they saw blacks as inferior, they believed that blacks would cause economic turmoil so you see economic reasons are not the whole problem as you people like to put it.

As a Republican I'm shocked that george the war criminal bush tenure in office is an affront to true republicanism.

Bush stole the 2000 election and was reelected in 2004 thx to his kosher Jewish advisors conducting a campaign of fear-mongering.

Real conservatives hate Bush!!! He is anti-American he is dragging America into foreign wars of aggression and willing to sacrifice American lives on behalf of fascist Israel.

Bush is responsible for the illegal immigration crisis which is a threat of national security, a drain on public services and the direct cause of depressed wages and supports amnesty for these criminals.

No Republicans or conservatives should feel they have to defend Bush since everything he has done is more Liberal.

Democrats should be happy with Bush. He is anti-American,
pro-minority, pro-Mexican and pro-Jewish!!!!!

please I am not looking for definitions of neoliberalism. I already know what it means. What I am looking for is people's personal opinions on neoliberalism. Is it good? Is it bad?

Also, please do not confuse neoliberalism with liberalism. They are definitely not the same thing. Neoliberalism is an economic doctrine promoting market-led growth, deregulation and the privatization of state-owned enterprises.

Neoliberalism has support from both Democrats and Republicans, and opposition from both Democrats and Republicans.

Bill Clinton is a neoliberal. So is George W Bush (he is a neoliberal and a neoconservative, believe it or not they are not contradictory, they just describe different things...neoliberalism mostly describes free trade and markets, whilst neoconservativism mostly describes foreign policy...in fact, neoliberalism and neoconservatism often go hand in hand)
