Is the Cold War really over?

If the cold war was JUST communism vs democracy, then I would say yes, but if ANYTHING else you believe it was over, just ask yourself if it is over. What do you think?

Can leaders of a state that is not part of the ICT be tried by the court?

I saw that the International Criminal court currently has about 103 states as members, does that mean that any leaders or members of state (country) that are not part of it cannot be tried there?

Actors get paid to have sex in porn movie productions,?

so if it is legal to ask a woman to have sex in the movie I'm producing, for which she will be paid, how is that different from approaching a woman and asking her to exchange sex for money, which could get me arrested for soliciting a prostitute? In both instances I'm asking her to perform sex for money.

Do you feel the same about the Iraq war? Why?

I had misgivings about the war from the start. I felt we should be absolutely sure..., why won't Germany & France (our allies) join us? We havent finished in Afghanistan, why the rush for Iraq?
I had served in Kuwait & Saudi & I had seen a lot of the landscape & the people. But I believed that surely there must be WMDs or a clear & present threat.
Anyway, we all know the story, many of us (at least I know I have) have been following it almost daily, I have friends there right now. What do you believe went wrong? Do you still believe this was a "just" war? What are the reprocussions of this action & how will it affect the US & the rest of the world going into the future? Look at how screwed up Vietnam Vets STILL are, w/what they went through, how do you think these Vets will be? Is this Vietnam all over? Did we learn anything? Or was this something completely different? I'm struggling w/these answers as someone who desperately still wants to believe in a country called America.

My sister hv a problem with here husband for dowry,he is torturing by hitting her,how to take legal action?

All i want now is, what type of legal action can taken against him. My sister had been sent out of house with two daughters, now she is now with me only. We have made a compliant against him couple of months ago in Women police station in Perambur(chennai). but now they refused to take a compliant and also asked to take legal action. Pls anybody can help us to get this to be resolved. Im very grateful to all. Thanks in Advance

Anyone know what restrictions there are for sending parcels to military personnel in Iraq.?

We have a niece that is stationed there and would like to send her some cookies or fruit cake for christmas but cannot find if the post office will accept these type items.

Are you a liberal or a conservative? Why? hen you vote do you normally vote democrat or republican?

I have a lot of conservative views, but always vote democrat as I feel that the democrats don't get funded by major oil companys when they're campaigning nearly as often as the republicans do.

Conservatives; Do you support a third of every tax dollar being spent on Military?

It amazes me how conservatives are sooo about saving money that they don't care about the society they live in to even provide equal life opportunity for all. But then how can they live with almost half of every tax dollar sent into military operations (which also kill so many young men.. it is so sad to see them on TV, leaving behind their families for a war that has nothing to do with their country...)

And firstly, I'm just bringing this up, so I'm not saying its true or not(obviously I couldn't say its true or not)

But, do you think the question should be raised "Was he messing with some sort of dirty bomb or any sort of terrorist activities, to have gotten poisoned by this radioactive substance?"
