Okay, so a person at work has gone rogue. He opened up a business, and stole my bosses accounts. Now my boss is sueing him of course, and the ex-employee is counter sueing. I heard he wants to subpoena me. I have nothing to do with what is going on, I just work for my boss and do my job. How can I get out of this subpoena, and would a doctor's note help any?
Thank you!

Do you think that the United States or the UN should take ACTION? Is so, why? If not, why not?

If I move and they send the letter, I'll never respond because I won't get it. Will they then issue a warrant for my arrest? What if I'm working overseas for a year and don't get my mail?

I placed an offer on a home in Arkansas a few weeks ago and today was offered a job in another state. The home loan has not been processed or finalized. The only thing I have signed is an offer and it was accepted by the homeowner. Other than losing my earnest money, which I expect....how obligated am I to this contract.

Have you ever called 911 with a real emergency and then they start saying that the addres your giving them is fake and that your call is a prank. This happened to me once where my friend had been shot at by a BB gun and the BB's went into his arm. His mom drove him to the hospital and his dad stayed with me and he called 911 to report what had happened. When he called 911 he reached the police department of a nearby town who transfered him to a department of another nearby town that said the intersection we were at didn't exist. We were transfered by them over and over and arguing with them for 10 minutes and then they hung up on us! We called back and did the whole thing over again for another ten minutes until they got us to our towns police department and they finally came. What if someone had been critically injured or something very serious!?

My child (who is 3) was granted visitation with his abusive father, and I was wondering if it was legal to send him with a hidden camera.

First they say that 42,000 civilians were killed, then some cuckoo report says the number was 600,000 and now its 150,000. And with 9/11, some people say 3000 and some say 4000. What's the truth?

Those who were raised in the Cold War -- those who were handed, that is, the pieties and certainties of that war and did not have to learn or think for themselves overmuch -- have demonstrated their limits in the present conflict. However well-spoken they (the Bush Administration) may be, they have been raised in an environment where completely independent thought simply is hard to find.

What should be the single and unswerving goal by the Americans and its remaining allies and others that might be allies yet again: to defend ourselves by weakening the Camp of Islam and Jihad, and to do that by dividing and demoralizing that camp, playing upon the pre-existing divisions, the three main ones being sectarian (Sunni and Shi'a), ethnic (Arab and non-Arab) and economic (the Muslims with vast unmerited wealth, and the Muslims who have no oil or gas deposits).

It's beyond hypocritical how people are supportive of Bush's war in Iraq when they or their kids don't have to fight and die in Iraq! Bring back the draft and let's see how hawkish the country club set is!

P.S. Having your friends in Iraq isn't the same.

They broke the law by coming here, and bring a negative economic impact to america, while many of them refuse to learn english and assimilate into american culture. What possible reasons are there not to deport these people?

And to anyone who says that they do jobs americans dont want, i ask you this; Once these immigrants children assimilate and become educated, who will do the jobs then, are we supposed to flood millions more illegal, uneducated and unskilled workers?

The other day I got my kids taken away and charged with child endangerment(felony) because my house was a mess.......does anyone know what happens next. I've been trying to find out but I'm getting the run around. If I get convicted I will lose my job. I have (2) 6 month old twins, 3 yr old, 6 yr old and a 10 yr old daughter who's autistic....I basically have my hands full.....and cps expects my house to be spotless...by the way I only have part time help...which is barely ever. Please no rude comments........I'm really not up for it.

After WWI the US gave russia 8 billion rubles in aid that was never repaid. The rest of the allies added another 5 billion rubles. During and after WWII russia received 20 billion US dollars in aid from the US and Canada and never paid any back. 10 billion dollars in grain from the US in the 70's again never paid back. Without aid from the the billions of dollars of aid from the allies there wouldn't be a russia today. In your opinion, how has this affected relationships between russian and the West?

to me all the pro-choice arguments are weak. ill state the pro-choice theory then my argument against it...

"its just a zygote, no more then cancer cells, not a human":
well actually its a human zygote. there are 46 chromosomes that make us human and the second the sperm and egg are combined the 'zygote' has those exact 46 chromes that make us human.

“It’s the womans’ body, not the governments”:
well if you followed my above statement that the 46 chromosomes that makes that little bugger in your tummy a human, killing it not in self defense or fear of your life means you killed a human being for no reason which is murder. I do believe the gov’t gets a say in murder don’t they? (rhetorical question, don’t bother)

Iran, aside from developing nuclear weapsons, why is this country becoming so powerful. Where are they getting the money, and the knowledge, to developed iran into a economic and military power? Iran out produces any country in the region in manufacturing, the stock market and in military clout. It also has the largest stock of industrial robots in that region. It's also producing 900 class Mercedes-Benz engines and exporting these iranian made products to europe. You know whats so funny, they kept their economy closed to foreign investments and transform it by state planining, stealing a page from the soviet union. They are a direct descent from german people. Most of their military hardware are exported to nato nations. Saudi Arabia has more money and western nations by its side, but it doesn't come close to what the iranians habor in their country. History will repeat itself. By the way, i am not iranian. Why are they teasting the u.s.?
