Not long at all, but in the meantime do this:
Wanna have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD!
As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice, CHRISTIAN, card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world.
Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.
Here's the Address, just don't be rude or crude.
(It's Not the Christian Way, ya know?)
ACLU
125 Broad Street
18th Floor
New York, NY 10004
Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions.. So spend 39 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a Holiday Tree. . . . It's a Christmas Tree! Also, send this to your e-mail buddies.

I think they have a case before the 9th circuit right now.
Please call it the so called ACLU. They are neither American nor civil. They have nothing to do with liberty.
They react to crosses exactly the same way vampires do. Hmmmm.

Alex - you're really going off the deep end here.
The ACLU fight to defend everyone's constitutional rights. For instance, they have fought to defend the right of a student to sing a religious song in a talent show, the right of a juror to wear a cross during a trial, and a Baptist church to perform baptisms in a public park.
Your question is deliberate fear-mongering and exhibits either a fearful ignorance or a desire to deceive.

Oh they wont get rid of the cross,I thought churches caused the ACLU to break out in hives and they stayed away.

probably as we type.
Did I hear it right? That each of the lawyers in the ACLU will be placed on the end of a missle in our country's new missle defense program? That way, they can shout their complaints out over the ocean instead of all over our country.

Not gonna happen. They claim to be protecting the religious freedoms of ALL religions, but are adamant about the whole "separation of church and state" thing. I'm not for them or against them, but I've actually been to their website and read their stances on many issues, and they aren't as bad as I thought.

Oh, I dunno, all those public displays of Christian crosses...right out in public and everything. That must be some kind of problem, right? Why is it OK to display for Hanukah, Kwanza, Commericalism (Santa Claus), and don't forget the Christmas Tree god that so many people worship and compete over to have the nicest one. Just dont let anything remind you of Jesus, that is what everyone wants. Maybe it makes them feel too guilty, knowing He died for their sins.

Whatever. The ACLU fights for you to have the ability to wear a cross.
