Your boyfriend cannot legally come to Texas to live without an approved Interstate Compact transfer. One of the stipulations for such a transfer is that the probationer/parolee must be in substantial compliance with the terms and conditions of his release. It doesn't sound like that is the case here.
If he does move there, a warrant will likely be issued, if it hasn't already.
That being said, Oregon may be happy to be rid of him, and not choose to extradite him. However, that's not really a chance worth taking. Advise him to report to his PO, and abide by the terms of release for at least 90 days, and then request a transfer.

Before a person on parole can leave a state to go to another and sometimes even a district inside a state. They have to get permission from their PO (parole officer) permission if given is usually for two week intervals. I know he is your daughters father but a warrant is usually issued. Parole warrants usually do not have geographical limitations so Dog Chapman or a person like him will be at your house looking for this guy. I know you feel obligated to help him but it sounds like he has been missing in action this long? I would just tell him you don't want the drama and for him to go back to Oregon until the parole is over. Or you can call the police department yourself, crime stoppers or not and give them his full name and date of birth and they will find out if he has a warrant. If so and he does not agree to leave until the parole thing is over give police his whereabouts and they will handle the rest.

It doesn't matter what the felonies are, he cane be arrested for leaving the state without permission. I some states, he could spend the rest of the time he would have been on parole in jail/prison on top of any new charges. The question would be, if he tries to remain in Texas, will his state bother to extradite him.

If he leaves the state and his PO finds out he can be violated and a warrant will be placed for his arrest. It's a bad idea. He should request permission as he will likely be able to go pending that he goes through the right steps.

He's an outlaw on the run now because he hasn't spoken with his Parole Officer in weeks. He wants to start a new life with the cops on his tail? Puh-lease. Get on with your life without this guy. He's a loser. Your daughter deserves better. Do you want someone like that as a role model for her? When he arrives, have the cops waiting on him. They'll take care of him and you and your daughter will be a lot better off.

For your daughters sake and for her respect, you should turn him in. People that want to start over clean up their crap first. If he wanted to be a better person he would be honest and see his PO. I can't believe you would even consider the idea of letting him around your daughter. For his sake I hope you turn him in while he's in Oregon, b/c Texas isn't a candya** state and they'll really put the wood to him there, and I promise you, he will get in trouble there too.

PS. What's his name and dob? lol

if he leaves the state without papers saying he is coming their to visit he will be put back in jail on a no bond and sent back to where he was living and will have to go in front of the parole board to see if he should be sent back to prison, sounds like he don't have a brain and needs to be back there if he can't follow the rules they gave him

If he gets stopped and they run a check, with the warrant he will be revoked on the spot and taken into custody

Don't worry about all that legal mumbo jumbo, you only need to concern yourself with getting knocked up again by such prize genetic material like this guy.
