The other day I got my kids taken away and charged with child endangerment(felony) because my house was a mess.......does anyone know what happens next. I've been trying to find out but I'm getting the run around. If I get convicted I will lose my job. I have (2) 6 month old twins, 3 yr old, 6 yr old and a 10 yr old daughter who's autistic....I basically have my hands full.....and cps expects my house to be spotless...by the way I only have part time help...which is barely ever. Please no rude comments........I'm really not up for it.

the cps worker told me that my tiles on my kitchen floor have to be spotless.....and i should be able to eat off my floor. And I'm not looking for sympathy.....I was looking for answers...to my question. By the way.....you're right....taking care of 1child who's autistic...and 1 with a genetic disorder.....and a person with a feeding tube.....is actually a lot easier. By the way...I'm a nurse by profession....thats what i do for a living. Trying raising twins.....its harder than you think......especially when you have no help.

They don't remove children without cause. They don't expect your house to be spotless, just habitable. Dirty diapers, trash, dirty dishes, roaches, flies, no food in the fridge, dirty children, etc are good reasons to remove children. Take this time to correct whatever it is they cited you for.

I have two disabled children, one with autism and a genetic disorder. My wife is on a feeding tube. Our house certainly isn't spotless, but the trash goes out regularly, the kids get baths at least every other day, the fridge is full, and the dishes are done every day. It's actually harder to live in filth than it is to clean it.

You won't get any sympathy from me. You've got time to go on the Internet, so go do some cleaning. When you do get the kids back, make them help. They are never too young to clean.

i can't imagine, don't these people realize there are 5 kids there, and when my twins were 6 mts if it wasn't for my mom, it would have been a disaster here, all i can say is get it together while your kids are gone so you can get them back, get some help on what is a acceptable way of living and how often bathing and things should be done. check out the website flyladies.com , they will help you get organized, and get by. i am sure you have your hands more full then most can imagine, just prove them wrong and get things put together. best of luck!

The courts should appoint an attorney for you and then give you a court date. They will also give you certain conditions that you will have to meet within a certain amount of time. Also be careful what you say in front of the CPS worker and don't let your attorney push you into anything. Good Luck!!

CPS are Nazi bastards. You need to talk to a attorney. Good luck.
