My mom and dad were only married for 2 years and had 2 kids. My mom moved to Alaska right away and my dad did not pay or keep in contact until I was 16. Can I get back child support now?Even through this happened in the 1960's?

Firefighters fight fire......thats how they get their name. So why aren't police officers called crime fighters since they fight crime? How did police get their name? How did we come up with calling them cops?

Its been an issue since the 1970s and im sure even earlier then that if they actually had to make laws against it.

Bush has enough things to worry about without people blaming him for things he didn't even start.

Once a couple are legally seperated, can they start dating other people or is it best to wait until the divorce is final? Could one spose use it against the other during the divorce if the other started dating? For instance, man and woman seperate, man starts dating this girl he's been friends with for years. when the divorce is filed, could the woman use this against the man?

He was charged with possesion with intent and conspiracy to commit a crime. He was sentenced to 5 years each a total of 10 yrs and 5 years following parole. 5 of those years were suspended and he is serving 5 years and then getting 5 years on paper. He has no prior felony or misdemeanor offenses. He had 1 job for 5 years. I need to know if a total of 15 years is right for him to be sentenced to in Mississippi? I think he should be able to get out earlier than what they are saying. We have 3 children and it is hard trying to make it by myself. He is a good man that made 1 mistake in his life. Who can I talk to that can get him out and what programs can I go through. He has a job already lined up with the company his dad works for and he has good family support. Please let me know what I can do.

Where I live the immigrants held a rally for their rights and planted a Mexican flag below our P.O.W./M.I.A.,American and California State Flags, while demonstrating in OUR Veterans Memorial Park. How can they expect us to not react with disdain? If you want citizenship, shouldn't you respect the country you are seeking it from?

Considering the moral problem many have this with this issue, should tax dollars be allowed to fund it? I was Arrested under Federral Charges for being Absent Without Leave and then was sent to Fort Knox and was given OTH Discharge.
