Wasnt it Clinton, who once he got in office, thought of the homosexuals as a higher priorty then too...... Pelosi wont do anything to better the war, she will end up getting more killed, maybe even on American soil!

unfair question as there is very little that anyone, including Nancy Pelosi, who can do anything about this war in Iraq which has been badly led by the US. I hardly think her views on gays has nothing to do with the troops, children and education or any other pressing subject before the legislative branches right now.

1. You made me look up JROTC. Not cool man.
2.Why the hell should the JROTC let in gays. they don't let gays in the military so why would they want mini gays in a program that they sponsor.
3. I don't agree with the policy.
4.Have you ever noticed that Pelosi has funny ears.
5. I just like to make lists, so you can ignore me.

She was working for her district, now she'll be working for all of us as Speaker of the House. I think she's intelligent enough to discern the difference. It's ridiculous to think she will list same-sex marriage at the top of her do-to list. What the Democrats propose regarding Iraq will not be Pelosi's personal decision, but a proposal made considering the input of all the Democratic members of Congress, or by those in a committee wherein the members are appointed and agreed upon. But you already knew that didn't you?

It was the city government that cut JROTC. Pelosi is a representative in congress for part of San Francisco and has no say in local matters.

I think she will look for an opportunity to cut military spending.
Does it seem odd to anyone that one democrat is proposing a draft?

I can hear her slogan now: "Victory starts at home!".
Cutting the ROTC program has already won half the battle in her mind.
