For instance, man and woman seperate, man starts dating this girl he's been friends with for years. when the divorce is filed, could the woman use this against the man?

Ha ha, aww, how sweet. People have sex with other people DURING marriage! Of course you can date- whenever you want. If people can do crap like that during marriage, there is nobody gonna stop them during a separation.

You can date while still together, although that usually leads to divorce. It is usually best to wait until the divorce is finalized; even if it was the cause of the procedings.

u can date whenever u want. wat would be the problem? people date more than 3 people at a time sometimes when they're also married to another woman adn have kids! One guy I heard about had 2 seperate families. He had the families on oposite sides of the city he lived in. He had a wife on one side with 3 kids and a girlfriend on the other with 1 kid. I know its terrible but people can date and cheat as they please.

It is not illegal to date during a marriage or even during legal separation- it is immoral, however. Therefore, one can not use it as evidence in a court of law. If one is legally separated, he can date as much as he wants, but it would be advisable not to flaunt it to his spouse.

If it's a messy divorce I would wait, it's unlikely she could use it against you, but just to be safe, try being very very secret.....

Not a Lawyer here, but ...

IMHO, I cannot see that it makes a difference! You could be dating her WHILE you are still married! It just makes you uncaring!

Hope this helps,
