I thought Malpractice and Wrongful Death was hard to prove. So wouldn't Doctors and Hospitals have the advantage in Court? If so, why do so many settle out of Court?

According to an academic study, as little as 3% of the American population possesses a high enough degree of political knowledge to make informed descisions. Don’t you think politicians know this, and accordingly, continually feed us a lot of hype and misdirection, knowing that most ‘voters’ only engage in civic participation on a very superficial level?

he's been asked over and over to talk but stubornly refuses
isn't he really just a coward playing armchair warrior with toy soldiers. what are we going to do when the coward is told to get out of Iraq by Iran, Syria and whoever else....why won't he go to voice the opinion of our country?

Does he have to sign the form that HR gave him to acknowledge he was spoken to? The form does not have any details of what actually happened. That is why he does not want to sign the form. What will happen if he doesn't sign it?

I've been thinking...(Scary as it sounds...)

I'm 22. Let's say I live in Alabama. (In Alabama, no one age 15 and younger can consent to ANY form of sexual activity.) If I were to have sex with a 15-year-old boy, I would surely go to jail.

Or, let's say, the 15-year-old boy were to rape me. Would he go to jail for the rape? And would I go to jail because I had sex with him? Would we jail mates? Hmmmmm....

- Stalin killed tens of millions more than Hitler, MILLIONS MORE!!
- Stalin had concentration camps as well
- Stalin suppressed freedom just as much
- Stalin did plan a Jewish killing effort in W. Russia*
- Stalin spread lies and propoganda just like Hitler did
- Stalin brought death to his own people
- Stalin also had plans to spread his ideology world-wide

* during the end of his life Stalin heard of a plot supposedly by Jewsih doctors to assassinate him. He had plans to rid major cities in Russia of Jews or at least suppress them as much as the Nazis did.

But somehow Hitler is worse? Yes Hitler was a scumbag but Stalin was a bigger one! So how was Hitler worse?

Why do these people not realize that we live in the worlds greatest nation "America" and that our government has the right to impose it's will on any barbaric nation wether they like it or not. We liberated Afghanistan freed Iraq and we should topple Syria's regime and install a Pro American transitional congress. Also bombing Iran just to show then how inferior they are would not be a bad idea. Arabs entering this vast and beautiful nation should be detained for at least 2 days before being let loose on our precious soil. Folks we live in the worlds greatest nation ever past present or future. America will last for 1000 years!!

All my friends are saying that like on Thanksgiving when schools out, the police go around the schools with dogs and the dogs are trained to smell drugs and stuff. I left like a ton of weed in my locker and schools closed, but it's at the back behind some text books. Do you think they will know if they do go around with the dogs?

Monday night, a German foreign exchange student at my school recieved a phone call from his company that sent him over. The company called Flag (or somethings like that, can't remember the exact name) informed him that his visa had been suddenly cancelled and that he had 48 hours to return home.

He was not allowed to talk about the reason why at school, but we know it was not a family issue. He said himself that his family wishes for him to stay in America. My friends and I are also pretty sure that he's not in trouble with the law.

Can anyone who has dealt with foreign exchange students give us some possible explainations?
