Why does it take the Japanese to develop more than 4-5 models of hybrids, before U.S. automakers even attempt to pick a model to put a hybrid engine into? Are the U.S. automakers trying to "Escape" (pun intended) from this newest reality?

I just received a ticket for parking in a handicap spot. Here's the situation. It was night time when this occured. There was no verticle handicap sign at the location. The handicap sign on the ground was barely painted. After I received the ticket, I took a lot of pictures showing that there was no verticle sign and the sign on the ground was barely painted. what kind of sick b******* would do this ! i was looking to see if there was a real time streaming video of certain area and up pops several of the descriptions (thank god it didn't open) and it was saying 'wow, includes screams, blood and everything. watch graphic beheading of *the mans' name was here. i don't want to type his name because i know there will be some sicko moron's who will want to see this. i am appalled that there are monsters out there who do this but to think that some view the death of someone's son as entertainment is just abhorrent. why do they allow this crap on the web. just like cnn showing the sniper killing an american soldier...who's side are they on anyway !

While minority racial and ethnic groups are busy marching, staging protests and expressing themselves, White men are quietly getting into the professions.

Isnt it time for minorities to turn away from leftist advocacy groups and embrace entrepreneurship, education and higher living standards?

Are these so called minority groups a hindrance to those which they claim to represent? Why does the government and these minority groups treat blacks like retards who are incapable of doing anthing for themselves?

Why do blacks and other minorities support these groups which clearly portray them as idiots in need of government assistance and protection?

Why are rich, educated and successful black people attacked by their own, called race traitors, or not "down" with the brothas and the sistas?

America paid a terrible price in Vietnam and it ended up being for nothing. America had brought the war on communism to a foreign country and it did nothing to fight communism. Is America bringing a war on terror to a country that will do little/nothing against the actual war on terror? Are their any Vietnam veterans that agree/disagree with this possibility?

I am a NATO officer, seen the american army at more battlefields than I care to remember ( I am non combatant, medic, peacekeeper ) they never have any strategy, just throwing in a lot of cannon fodder and hardware, they **** the civilians, shoot at negotiators, get badly beaten and leave us to clear the mess when they have left with the tail between the legs. Why are you guys still keeping this ignorant, braindead generals, instead of showing them the exit ? Why do you believe that **** that they would have won, if not that ........ and ...... ? That they actually did win, but only had a tactical retreat ( korea, tactically retreated for 50 years, but coming back ofcourse ) ( shall we just say nothing about Nam ? ) Lately there was a top brass claiming that the third world war with the muslims was inevitable ! Sure, in the states, not in our backyard, they can not even hold their lines in Afghanistan and Iraq. Do this idiots know that Europe and Pakistan have nukes ? EurPak alliance ?

I know we can't just leave. its to late for that. as much as i'd like it. but what if we where to set up a base out somewhere in the desert. make it real secure 4or 5 cheek points just to get near the place , a training center for an army < that is iraqy> made up by a draft> of young men who must serve there nation. have a large refugee camp with weman and childern and people that need safty. cheek them for weapons before thay enter.so thay can't kill each outher. and send the new army out as there trained to take back there city's and bring our boys out as the new force takes control. it would cost money but hell we spent 100s of billions already. a lot of tents and food and water. suround the place with tanks and choppers and men ... maybe in a year we'd be out of there. what da yall think ? our people are getting killed potroling the citys and on roads. there fairly safe in camps.I know I'v spoken to some of them.it's when thay go out on potrol that they get killed

The missing WMDs? George and Dick knew better than the CIA and we went to war because they refused to listen and take seriously the CIA reports. Because of this we not only have not caught Osama but we've created more terrorists than we've stopped.

Now it looks like Dick and George already have their personal agenda for Iran mapped out and again will refuse to heed the advice of the CIA.

Even Fox news (A fairly conservative media source) is reporting that the majority of Americans feel purposely misled going into the war and that the majority of American want out. If you believe in democracy, doesn't that mean the majority should rule? I see a lot of people on here saying that an American is unpatriotic/liberal/coward/stupid for wanting to save American lives. Wouldn't the people supporting continued occupation be the unpatriotic minority in this case? At least those that support withdrawal are concerned about the lives of American troops, how can that be unpatriotic?

I received a ticket for going 12 miles over the speed limit. The time was clearly 7:45AM and on the ticket I received from the office, the time of the incident is 7:06AM. I was nowhere in the area and in fact I was at home sleeping at that time. I am thinking of contesting the ticket based on this inaccurate information. Please let em know if you think I have a good chance to get this dismissed based on that time difference?
