That would be impossible. There is alsways a fool who thinks he has a novel usage for a product that has no relation to the products design or intended usage.
For every fool who damages himself in this manner there is a lawyer anxiously waiting to file a product liability claim in his name. At the very least product liability law should be reformed to limit the amount of money that the attorney can make off of the suit. The biggest winner in any class action law suit is the attorney who filed it. Most cases see absolutely no money being distributed to the members of the class, just products or credits towards future purchases, but the attorneys literally make millions of dollars.

no matter how much warnings they put, they can't guarantee it at all.
this is where it comes down to personal responsibility, something that is sadly going the way of the do-do in this sue-happy country.
Case in point: I bought a plastic bin. It's roughly 1 1/2 feet high and 1 1/2 feet long and 2 feet wide. Guess what "warning" lable they put on the inside cover? A picture of a child sitting in it, with the "no symbol" through it, as the "lid" of the bin is about to be placed over it. REason, suffocation.
Now, Im sure that the only reason why this label was put on there, was that some idiot parent not so long ago, did exactly that. Put their child into a bin, and covered it, and the child suffocated, and probably sued that company because it tidn't have a warning label to state that that would be dangerous.
Really really sad.

They can't.
They can spend an enormous amount of research and development time and money to assure that the product is safe when used properly for its intended purpose - but, unfortunately, they can't follow the consumer home to assure that he isn't using a folding chair for a step ladder.
In this age of litigation and sue happy mentality, the manufacturers strive to make their products as idiot proof as possible. The instructions often now go into details that are almost laughable - and whenever an alleged injury occurs, every one looks for, not the cause, but the deepest pockets.
After all, stupidity or callousness is always someone elses fault - just ask any lawyer.

manufactures ensure thier products by testing thier products before they start selling to the consumer. A good example is every electrical device has a sticker on the back that saids in capitol letters UBL, that is the name of the company that test the product before sell. Every company has a inspecter hired by the government to find out if the product is safe. Thats why its always third world countrys that have the biggest manufacturing compynies in the world cause then can buy off the inspecter in there country, that why you always say its cheap cuase it was made in china.

Nothing can be made foolproof because fools are so ingenious.
We need to modify our product-liability laws to require that the manufacturer is only liable if the product was used in a reasonable and common-sense manner.
