Absolutely. The death penalty should be administered to anyone denying the existence of God.

Once of course, his existence is proved.

Over to you Heinz!!

Good question. If we lived in the Dark Ages when everyone was devoted to the church. Many many of the basic laws are based on the moral and eternal laws of the church, so in a way it would have made sense back then. However now, many laws have progressed past those of the church (I mean in Canada it is legal for same sex couples to marry. That's not to say that churches will marry them.. but yeah) To answer your question I would have to say, no it shouldn't be illegal, not now. Telling Atheists that it is illegal to publicly deny the existence of God, would be much like telling the Christians that it is illegal to publicly advocate the existence of God. It's telling people what to believe and how to act, which if I'm well read on my American Constitution goes against the Charter of Freedom and Rights.
No one knows absolutely whether or not God exists, or how he came into being. It has been the subject of great debate among philosophers for years. Even Saint Augustine (who is a fore-father of Christianity) struggled with the question of the existence of God. Anyhow, I could talk about this forever, but i'll stop here before I bore people.

Yes and just to be fair lets make illegal to publicly talk about God,who needs that damn freedom of speech when we have God to tells us what to think. Free will is a sin in the eyes of the blind.

No, because how would you decide which gods to keep?

If you made it illegal for me to say "Jesus doesn't exist", you also make it illegal for you to say "the Flying Spaghetti Monster" doesn't exist as His Noodliness is, in my (and millions of other Pastafarians's belief) the one and only creator of the world (and hence by normal terms of reference) god.

No. Since all of the evidence points to the non-existence of god, why should it be made illegal. You can't legislate the truth.

It isn't illegal -- nor should it be -- to deny or affirm the existence of God.

Oh dear - another pseudo Christian doing their best to discredit and dishonour Christianity.

In case you had not notice there are moves afoot around the world to consider laws to curb Christian extremism.

How can you demand freedom of worship for yourself and seek to deny it to others. What a weak faith you have and what tremendous damage you are doing to your religion.

Although I rail against this sort of question I am heartened that so many Christians have emailed me saying they wish the true Christians could reclaim the church and control the extremists.
I wish them every success!!!

In America it a freedom of speech. Now, before God, it a condemnation in the making.

Sure ... if the idea of Free Speech means nothing to you. If people don't like people expressing that view, let's see them refute it. The fact that they're tempted to squash it instead shows the weakness of their position.

Of course not! There is a reason why we have the First Amendment, you know! Is this even a serious question, or are you just trying to antagonize people?
