Because he has a different agenda. Their plan has been to destabilize Iraq, not to stabilize it. This way we are in control of the oil, the Saudi Prince has the middle east politics the way he wants them to be, and massive plundering can go on in Iraq and into the US Treasury in the form of huge contracts for military equipment, supplies, etc. Look at Cheney's company Halliburton receiving no bid contracts for billions of dollars each year. This is very big business, and they are in it for the money and the control. That is how we can be told that US policy should be shoot first and ask questions later for our own safety. Look at the big lie for more details.

They love to listen and follow, and never have a real independence of their own. That's why it's so easy to get the Republicans to get out their vote. They do as they are told just like in their religious congregation.

It has been widely reported that Bush doesn't listen to anyone who does not already support his ideas, right or wrong. If you're a yes man/woman you are welcome in his Administration, if not take a hike. Ask Colin Powell, he knows about that very well.

So where'd you get the info about him not listening to various advisors and not looking at a number of written reports, that doesn't imply that he is required to follow any of them, now does it?
