If the person is in federal prison then the Dept of Justice can tell you. State prisoners can be found within the Dept of correction files.

If it is local, contact the local prison and ask. If it is not local, there is a database of phone numbers online somewhere (sorry) for all of the prisons in your state. You just call the number and give their full name and date of birth, I think.

if you know the state where the crime was committed, you can go to the department of corrections website for that state; by filling in a little info you can get what you want; in GA it even comes with a mug shot;

You can call the police station that he was taken too...they should tell you if they have been arrested and where they took them too....Hope this answered your question.
