We can stare in front of our monitors for the rest of the day discussing immigration issues but...?

it's not really making a difference. The workers, regardless of legal status are busy working and the congress is busy hatching up plans to regain or maintain majority for the next election year. Are we just wasting our time and unnecessarily frustrating ourselves then?

I am in the board of a youth league and I would like to know if we can change our by laws each year?

I would like to know if we can change out by laws each year so we can stay on the board longer. The way the by laws are not is that each board member is on the board for one yean and can be reelected each year after, so is there any time in the year that we can change those by laws to read that we would be on the board for 4 years and I want to know if this is legal.

Why is there so much criticism toward president Bush? It's not like being the leader of a country is easy!?

I mean, if he would be a bad president he wouldn't be selected on the second term! People tend to make sarcastic remarks toward every little thing a leader lacks, thats just not right. Let's anyone who criticizes him try and do a better job. I don't get why exactly do people dislike him!?

pulling out of drive way and already out of driveway and car comes?

out of no where.. Stated that they were going 25mph in a school zone which is 15mph then beeped horn after the fact. I looked both ways and yield out, ready to put the car in reverse? Person said, he saw me already backed up and venred away? I bumped into him in the middle of vehicle. Whose at fault?

Should I join the firefighters board?

A few firefighters in my communty has asked me to think about joining the board. The people that are already on the board are elders. They firefighters have been in need of getting new gloves, air packs, more air masks, etc. The elders are refusing to get the new equipment. Our firefighters are in danger because of the out dated equipment. What would you do if you was in my shoes?

get off my background check?

i have a court date next month and for the past few days i have been stressing so much. i got caught shioplifting, i cant afford a lawyer and i heard lawyers and try to get my type of case down to an infraction. i have talk to a few lawyers but they are so expensive, i was wondering if i dont get a lawyer to represent me when i go to court what are the chances of me lowering the fee/fines. After i plead guilty will the judge give me time to talk and say what i ahve to say or no. can i bargain with the judge or will he give me a bargain. is there anyway in the future i can get this removed from my record with out a lawyer, if so, or no, how..etc .

Why Republican?

Why would the average person support republicans? Republicans believe in what is called the "trickle down effect", which is essentially giving tax breaks to the rich, and they believe that the money the rich save will trickle down to the poor - which we all know it doesn't. The democrats believe in tax breaks for the poor, so that more money can be put into the economy and make everyone a little richer - which it does.

So my question is, why would anyone who is not rich, support a republican?

Is your own country so bad?

Is your own country so bad that you have to make our great Country out to be worse than your own just to make it look good? The USA is one of the wealthiest countries in the world and I'm not talking about the Govt. the people have more money and work to make it we like the freedom we have we like to protect that freedom and if that means fighting someone Else's battle in there country to keep it out of our great country then so be it...We have struggled to make this great country what it is with no help from any other country we have fought many battles to keep our great country GREAT and to make it to where there are 12 million illegal Mexicans who are here to get some of the wealth that this great country has to offer to anyone who wants to come here and work there butts off to get it......I do expect all 12 million of you to start the process of becoming a legal citizen and obey our laws and that goes for anyone else from all the other countries in the world .....So you can complain about this great country all you want but we will never go away if anything we will grow stronger by the day and keep on protecting this great country even if it means dieing for the freedom that our ancestors claimed for us all....Its OK you can hate us all you want....
