If you earn over $100,000 family income-you think the economy is great!

Figures show this is a very good economy. The imports are so high because of the energy usage. If we can apply our know how to changing our energy usage we can kick the oil habit and come out of the large imbalances. We have fallen prey to the cheap goods from other countries and fail to understand how those savings hurt us down the road. Instead of paying a few dollars more for the few items still made in America we buy foreign goods. The differences in price do not justify the side effects like added unemployment and underemployment because too many people move from production jobs to service jobs. Not only the US is experiencing this problem. The only countries having more exports than imports are oil producers or cheap labor centers like China, India and Indonesia.

Doing fine here. Just bought a brand new car with cash. Got all my Christmas shopping done and didn't use a credit card, and I don't make $100,000 a year either. I just know how to budget to get what I want. The economy is great right now! Come January it might not be so good though. :-(

It's doing great where I live, but I live in a port city where we are shipping goods all over the world. The ship yards are building ships as fast as they can go, and the steel mills are trying to keep up.

The military bases Clinton closed down have reopened and are building airplanes that will be sent to countries all over.

Companies are begging people to come to work for them, they will even pay for their training.

Nope. Everything is fine.
Everyone who wants to work, has got a job.
Lowest Un-employment in history.
The druggies and the welfare people are being left behind.
If all the people who could work got off welfare, they would be more money for the poor people who can't work.
Welfare Democrats are taking money from the very people who need it.

Well, if there is no one in America, then a good economy does not mean much, now does it?
