Aaron-iraq had nothing to do w/ 9/11. bush said that himself.
what did they do?
well, 9/11, wait that wasnt true, wmds, wait that wasnt true either...(even though they did find a barn filled w/ a few hundred pounds of expolsives and ammo, but it only made the 10th page of the CT post)
well i guess you can argue oil, saddam(even though there are many worse dictators who get no attention)
or that it was supposedly an easy takeover.

Well, since our country is run by Bush, when 9/11 happened our government decided to invade Iraq. Now, understand that Iraq didn't cause 9/11, it was terrorists. Then, Bush told the American public that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.... of course none were found. So, basically we entered Iraq on a false claim and for some reason we are still there... hmmm doesn't make since. The one good thing we did there is help there government and oust Saddam Hussein, but the real question is... why are we still there.

Are you seriously asking such a dumb question? Well lets see does the date 9-11 mean anything to you? If you don't think every last one of them bastards don't deserve to die for what they did to our country (for no reason mind you) you have problems. Also our troops are over there fighting for their freedom so the Iraq people can be considered free. The question should be what did our troops do to deserve to be sent over there and give their life for them to be considered a free country. My opinion is our troops need to come home! And let them fight their own battle or just kill each other off. And for all our troops who are fighting for what they did and to prevent it from happening I thank and salute you! Stay safe and I hope you get to be with your families ASAP!

Ask this question also about Bill Clinton's war against Serbia in the 90's. We slaughtered serbs in a pointless PR effort to win favor in the muslim world, while at the same time we were ignoring the extermination of 1 million people in Rwanda?

I wasn't going to comment but I read "Angels" comment. 1st-"Angel" is definately a misnomer for some one so bound up in hate. The 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia, not Iraq. There is no justification for the US to invade Iraq except for Regime Change which is in violation of US law. Angel, please try and educate yourself.

What did Iraq do to deserve getting set free? Nothing. It was a free gift from the generous people of the United States.

the war isn't really against iraq but it's leader and his followers. Some iraqis are happy with the war because it will allow their country to develop and mature witht the help of America.

well a simple answer to a simple question:
they're used to war.
they've been at war in the Middle East for centuries, & one more really won't change a lot over there.
But i agree it seems dumb to jump in there now.....
