Did you actually listen to what she had to say? Is that what you want the Democrats to do? Spend their time tying up the Congress with impeachment proceedings? She's right, it's a waste of time. There are only two years left in Bush's Administration and she's right that they would love nothing more than for the Democrats to prove they are what the Republicans have been saying all along. Thirsting for revenge and hatred of Bush is the Dems only platform - that's what the Republicans were saying before the mid-terms. Now you want that to be true? Not me. I want the war, our economy, and terrorism addressed on a bipartisan level. There are going to be investigations into the constitutionality of many of Bush's actions, that's a given. I hold no love for George Bush, but those thirsting for impeachment/revenge will have to find water elsewhere and I couldn't agree more.

representative Pelosi is 0.33 in line for the presidency, If she is mendacity to the human beings for political earnings she desires to lose that place very rapidly. and that i'm not a Neocon yet a life-time Republican. and how did she anticipate to flee with calling the CIA liars besides? She even claimed that they misinform congress on a commonly used foundation. This lady is mad. and a few of her fellow Democrats are asserting it too. SFC US military Retired

CNN did a poll at the beginning of September where they asked if people supported impeachment. 69% said no, 30% said yes, 1% didn't know. That was a scientific poll. The MSNBC survey is not. I'm not saying that he hasn't done anything worthy of impeachment. What I'm saying is the support for it among the population is not there.

Its politics, buddy.
She's a smart woman and that might be on her agenda...but just because you think it should be a top priority doesn't make it so.
Besides, now that the Demo's have control, they know that they'd better put together some damn good plans for America (as a whole) or they'll lose Congress and the White House in 2008.

Why did Bush protect Bill Clinton from being charged with Treason?
Bush had all the information, and never released it.

What can you do -the system is good. My favorite book is "Ender's Game", so I'm intrigued to say the least.....
Only the mob and the elite can be attracted by the momentum of totalitarianism itself. The masses have to be won by propaganda.

I don't think she's protecting them, as much as she is prioritizing, and looking ahead at the big picture.
