I agree he should be the next candidate for President, and I am positive that he will win the election. He is a very well like man and very good person.

No doubt Barack Obama is one of the front runners within the Democratic party. ( behind Hillary, of course)

Is the USA ready for an African American President or a woman president? I am not so sure we are. ( the country as a whole)

If elected president, could he fix alot of problems within the world? I doubt it..he would be doing well, if he could just fix a few of the problems within the USA.

God Bless America!

Condi defeats Barack in the 2008 elections - pitting 2 African Americans against each other for the first time in US history.

Not likely.

Regardless what his capabilities are, regardless what party he represents, America is not ready for electing an Afro-American, or more precisely, electing a male White Anglo-Saxon. Therefore neither he nor Hillary Clinton has any chance to be elected as president

He's too inexperienced to run for President, but politically he might make a good VP candidate.

I do think it's funny to call him the first African-American to _____, when he is only half black. He's a Halfrican-American.

Personally, I disagree with just about everything he believes, and I don't find him all that intelligent. He speaks well, und unfortunately most people equate oral eloquence with intelligence (hence the mistaken belief that the verbally clumsy George Bush is an idiot).

Really? I like the guy, but on what do you base the idea that he'd fix a lot of problems? Don't get me wrong, I'd listen to the guy, but at this point he has no real record to run on, and I'm not sure what he believes.

I hope not, he's too liberal for me. I'd much prefer to see Condi win. But wouldn't it be something if it was Obama vs. Condi? Ha! That'd drive the KKK crazy! It'd be great!

He doesn't have a chance against someone like McCain or Biden. He doesn't have the experience.

I sure hope not. He's only written one book and done two years. He isn't corrupt enough yet to be president.
