According to the latest Washington Post reports; Bush has lately been citing oil as a reason to stay in Iraq.Please enlighten me if that was the true reason for the invasion ??? Should we fight the online pedophile community?

To what extent should we hunt (online) and inform on self confessed pedophiles?

If some one posts on a blog

"I am a pedophile but I dont abuse children"

should we give them the benefit of the doubt? This guys arguement is that he is a "pedosexual" he is attracted to children (boys in particular) and that there is nothing wrong with that.

Its when you cross the line (he says) that you commit an actual crime your in the wrong.

Im not trying to sound like the thought police here, but I dont feel comfortable knowing people are in my community that profess to being sexually attracted to children and see that as being OK.

I have challeneged this individual to an open debate in a public arena, such as a FOX/CNN/BBC discussion board.

But what else can we do? Should we (as citizens) take pre-emptive steps to protect our children, or let the guy be free to roam and get aroused by our children?

I think he should just rot in jail, the free world is not for the death penalty, and it seems we are pushing our culture on them so why wouldn't our governments try to persuade otherwise, like life imprisonment??

Whenever you hear the words, "Comprehensive Reform", what they really mean is amnesty. There is no way to enforce the provisions of the Bush plan. If there were, we would not have the problem we have now. What makes Bush think that illegals, who are already forging fake documents so that they can work here, will not forge documents stating they have been here for five years? I am for a plan, similar to Mexico's immigration policy, that secures the border and protects American jobs. Only after we stop illegal immigration should we even consider the possibility of a guest worker program.

if u suddenly felt in love and then found out that the person u love is not living legally in your country what would u do if u know he/she needs or wants to stay ???

would u care about his/her legal status ???

would u consider him/her a criminal ???

would u treat him/her as a criminal ???

ok, so i hear on the news tonight the republican campaign has set up auto dialers to call voters and repeat the Democratic candidate's name repeatedly in the first 20 seconds of the message, then when the voter hangs up, keep calling back.

i helped with the phone from home campaign for webb and had at least two people yell AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS that "you people keep calling me and stop calling me". since we have an automated web-enabled system that is impossible unless coincidentally 5 or so different phone from home staff happened to push the same wrong button on these same individuals -- probability: .000000001 in a trillion

So should the RNCC simply be fined $500 per criminal call, according to current law, or should they be forced to forfeit won elections if fraud can be proven?

p.s. this is a voter issue, not a dem vs. gop issue

I think the concepet of migrant workers should be a tool left open to this nations disposal, I also belive this can be a door for future reference when some one applies to be a citizen.

I can see the point to migrant labor for the simple fact, if some one requires seasonal help, but can not get the employes lined up ahead of time, or as a measure to have the required help at the moment. However, their should also be something in play to offer this seasonal work to unemployed citizens on welfare, or even prisoners.
