What I want to know is what can be done to the parent of that child that would talk to other parents of the situation? And also what can been done to another parent that kept talking about the false accusations towards me? This other parent shouldn't have known what was going on, but did and would be talking about it. How am I suppose to get my good name back after all this news has been spread around?

He looks and talks like he is completely stupid. He has jeopardised the safety of the world with his gung-ho tactics. Not only that - he has done the American people a serious injustice. Bush has opened up the most serious can of worms ever - we will forever be under threat of terrorism and extremism. What was once a reasonably mutually respectful world a few years ago, has now turned into one gigantic war field. I am so glad I decided against having children. God only knows what I would be leaving them to face. I hope that now the Americans have a choice as to who governs them in the future, they get rid of this lunatic and his party and make way for someone - if there is anyone there - who is not wrapped up in their own self importance and has a real desire to repair the mess of this idiot. By the way, obvious I know, but I'm British and until Blair became Bushes puppy, I was proud of it. My only concern now is for those boys out there that are frightened and should be home!

Will the Democrats "really" do anything different except raise our taxes if given the chance?
Strategists will continue to make decisions on the ground and will the changes merely be superficial?

Additional Details

The tax cuts have produced more job thus creating more income from taxation. It's right there in black and white.
The more jobs there are the more taxes create higher revenue.

Clinton simply didn't tinker with a ball set in motion by Reagn and Bush-1. nice try but Clinton simply reaped the rewards of the tough and unpopular choices the republicans made thus creating the boom of the 1990's.

Yes many jobs are low paying. Just as the job growth in the Clinton era were and remained so. The groundwork for high paying technical jobs are actually going to have to boom in order to keep up with the Chinese and the rest of the world

Here me out please, and consider how much better of you would be if this drain on society was elliminated (and before you comment about civilized society, remember pensioners will die by freezing in the UK over the winter!- who should a civilised society spend its money on killers and rapists or pensioners).
It costs an average of £37,000 to imprison someone. If sentanced to 20 years and released after 10, thats £370,000 we pay through taxation
For the offender to repay that back in income tax to society that would take someone earning £50,000 a year about 25 years.
I believe we must get to a point in saying in some circumstances there is no economic sence in trying to reform you, you are worthles to society and kill them.

i have nothing against feeding the poor or making the world aware of the needy. but when a man worth 600 million moves his finances to the netherlands to avoid paying taxes then wants to raise everyone else's taxes to serve his cause, then has the nerve to wag his finger at regular joes for not contributing enough. how is that not hypocritical? like most rich liberals, he dances to the tune of "redistribution of wealth" until the collector comes knocking on his door. now before anyone says he wants to avoid taxes to feed the hungry, i say BULL. i'll believe that when his bank account looks like mine.

no i'm not envious of him. i don't want his money. he earned it, it's his. i just don't like the idea of an extremely wealthy person trying to FORCE people to contribute to his cause via taxes.

I've never understood how Bush gets away with saying this, it's an illogical and thoroughly unpleasant claim, for two reasons:

1. If there were 5000 people in the world willing to kill themselves in suicide attacks against the west before the Iraq invasion, there are now 10 times as many people willing to do this (because of all the hatred against the west created by this war). You reap what you sow, why can't Bush and Blair see this.

2. This claim also implies that it's morally ok to make another country into a battlefield. It looks like more innocent people have died in Iraq since the invasion, than during Saddams rule.

I agree that Saddam was a very bad man, and can even entertain the notion that Bush and Blair went into this with the best intentions of bringing democracy to Iraq. What I can't understand is Bush's statement about fighting them over there, doesn't he see that this just creates more enemies of the US an Britain?

He wants the Policemen to be charged with attempted murder after he tried to escape and split his head on a propellor in a river (all this while only in his undies). He's just been released from the hospital after putting himself through a hunger strike and is harping on about being abused...please, he's a well known conman! What a crock of ****! Any thoughts on the matter??
