My wedding photographer says that the pictures of my ceremony didn't turn out, that they were too dark b/c she had to go to the balcony of our church to get pictures since our pastor waived her hands and said no to her at the start of the ceremony. Our pastor said this was b/c she was using flash, and she was told there was to be no flash in the church. If the photog would have turned the flash off and took pics from the lower level they would have turned out!
Plus we have video of her taking pictures pre-ceremony 5ft away from people (with flash!) and they aren't included on the CD of pictures she gave us, that's supposed to have every picture she took on it.

I have emailed her 3 times asking her to give us the pics, and I sent her a letter stating we wanted every single picture, even the ones that are too dark. I don't want money, maybe a refund but really I just want my pictures!

If I sue her could I just sue for my pics? Or could I only sue for a refund?

Americans need to defend themselves to other countries citizens here? Whether you hate our government or not who gives one **** about what an Aussie or a British person thinks, it's our government, but for some reason they go head over heels trying to expain why our government is bad, yet no Americans sit here complaining about Austrailian politics or British government. I don't like Bush, I don't support him, and I never voted for him, but since when does the world feel necessary to sit and complain to us about our government? Is this just them admitting without saying so that the U.S. is much greater and far superior than their countries?

I was wondering how much $$ would we have to pay the profit mongers who make a fortune on military contracts to retro fit the current humvee's in use by the U.S.A. and allies military so they will stand up to attack and save the troops,if we can't pull them out we might as well make them as safe as our technology allows!

It seems like all the vitriolic questions are aimed against the Republicans. Why do people think the GOP is going to use immoral tactics? Why aren't any of the Republicans asking what's up with the Democrats? Or maybe the Republicans are just above the little petty fights and smashing the Dems.

What can be done? Both parties are guilty. We're voting for dishonest people but if we don't vote then we might as well not live in a democracy. How can we pass a law that would require political candidates to be honest or face consequences when the law would have to be passed by the people responsible for the lies we're seeing this election?

My wife's grandfather was a US army veteran assigned in the Philippines during 1943 and got married here. My father-in-law did not chose to be an american citizen but instead chose to be a Filipino. My wife has only 1 picture of their grandpa and a couple of old letters. We tried to search for their marriage certificate but they did not register in civil registry. Can my wife ask for an american citizenship eventhough my father in law waived it.
