It will be a long process; but I think in time one if the issues will be to re-visit the free trade agreements and get the nations industry back on track, The restoration of the middle class that the republicans have tried to destroy will pump billions into the economy and with restored faith in the economy, good paying jobs should be on the horizon.
It's always been a joke to me how the republicans would make you think that NAFTA was all Bill Clinton's doing when the fact of the matter is that Bush Sr. was the original spearhead for NAFTA doing his bidding for big business. Only the lies that the republicans and big business fed the public got it through the first time. The Clinton administration merely inherited the whole mess.
I would venture to say that it will take at least three Democratic administration terms to fully recover.
World affairs hopefully will be peacefully repaired.

"IF" they win and that's a big "IF" they will simply do what Clinton did. Reap the rewards of the Republicans making tough and unpopular choices as he did with the economy boom in the 1990's. The war will go on and they will make superficial changes yet the commanders on the ground will continue to make the decisions. They will create an image that they changed direction and won the war that the republicans couldn't. It's all smoke and mirrors and the far left knows how to fool it's sheep.
I am confident the quiet majority will vote in droves thus leaving the Republicans in power and possibly even gaining a few seats.

Clinton left office after 8 yrs with a surplus. I doubt that the Dems could repair the damage to our treasury in the first 4 yrs.
The country has currently the largest deficit in our history.

Amazingly, the Dems will just start taking credit for all that is good in the US after tomorrow if they win.
I predict that on January 2nd the spin will be how wonderful the economy is doing thanks to the Democrats.

As long as it will take to break whatever's left...what makes you think the Democratic Party, which is just as chock full of New World Order shills as the Republicans, will be the big saviour? One is just as bad as the other...that's the way it goes in a one party system. Democracy is dead...remember the 2000 election?

I would say about 20 years... It really amazes me how much damage the republican party has done, in just 6 years they've spent about 5 trillion dollars! and we haven't got anything to show for what they've spent.
