They needed to put out so many to counter the Democrats hate ads I'm not sure. Both sides are using the scare tactics as usual. just get used to it there is no other way. All of them dem and rep want power bad enough to outright lie on the other. get over it there is nothing that can be done to change this tactic.

Probably the smear-ad on Ford. Forget which state he's in, but the commerical was possibly the largest amount of bullshit I've seen in under a minute, spare the literal meaning.

I didn't see any "hate" ads, but neither party would put out "negative ads" if the public didn't respond to them so favorably.

I think both parties did ridiculous hate ads this time.
Politicians: both republican and democrat engaged in the ridiculous mud-slinging behavior.

"DEMOCRATS WIN! TAKE CONTROL OF CONGRESS!
"12 million illegal immigrants to get amnesty and Socuai Security benefits.
"Taxes to increase for NJ families by $2000 a year."

For MN Governor: It starts off "Your Mike Hatch, and you've got problems" (Mike Hatch is Dem candidate).
