Americans need to defend themselves to other countries citizens here? Whether you hate our government or not who gives one **** about what an Aussie or a British person thinks, it's our government, but for some reason they go head over heels trying to expain why our government is bad, yet no Americans sit here complaining about Austrailian politics or British government. I don't like Bush, I don't support him, and I never voted for him, but since when does the world feel necessary to sit and complain to us about our government? Is this just them admitting without saying so that the U.S. is much greater and far superior than their countries?

I agree wholeheartedly. Whether or not Bush is doing a good job, and he isn't, he should be the least of Britain's concern. Last I heard, Tony Blair wasn't any better, so they need not complain about our government. Plus, we're actually being affected. They have no idea personally what it feels like to have a man like Bush in power.

It probably has to do with the fact that the United States is about 90% of everything in the entire world; no other country even comes close. Because the US is so predominant, it is right out in front and in plain sight of everyone. When they look what is the first thing they see? Something to do with the US. So it is easy to complain about things that are right in front of you all the time. If they really looked, they could find just as much about the Fiji Islands they could complain about, but since Fiji is small, remote, ineffective in the world political arena, no one ever gives it a second thought.

Yes. In this uni-polar world America happened to be only big brother and it is natural for other countries to blame her for all the wrongs anywhere in the world. Need to have a foreign policy that involves revision of strategies. And some boomerang, and there is handful problem. A rich man only can spend and the more he spends the longer will be the trail. It costs to be rich and popular and free.
So never mind. The blame is fame nowadays. Enjoy being American, big brother.

Some people ALWAYS have to complain about something. These people who complain don't necessarily believe, I don't think, that we're superior. Speculating on their feelings, since I can't put a microphone under the mouths of any of them for an interview, they didn't like their government where they were. They came here and don't like the government here either...you just can't please some people.

Don't worry about things that's beyond you or can't be understood by you. Focus on your path.
