i'm not sure who the president on the 'I want YOU in the US army' posters is, so i'd be really thankful if anyone could help

It's a fictitious drawing that is just named "Uncle Sam".

Thats uncle Sam...he was an icon used to get men to sign up for the draft. If you want to see a poster of what he looks like go to the link below and search for want you.

The figure is not one of a President, however I believe the Presidnet at the time the poster was developed was Wilson.
