the worlds media were told none were shot down, then a video from serbian media showed the u.s FA-117 stealth bomber wreckage after it was shot down, but they still admitted it was the only plane shot down(though n.a.t.o said it came down due to technical difficulties). so how many were actully shot down and when will they tell the true figures to the world, in 20,30,40,50 years time like in the vietnam war?

None during that actual war but after the war, the alliance reported the loss of three helicopters, 32 unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) and five aircraft — all of them American, including the first US stealth plane (a F-117 stealth fighter) ever shot down by enemy fire. Several of these were lost in accidents and not by enemy action. The Yugoslav armed forces claimed to have shot down seven helicopters, 30 UAVs, 61 planes and 238 cruise missiles. However, these figures were not verified independently and have little support among non-Yugoslav analysts.

NATO did not lose any aircraft. Only the US did. (Guess who was flying all of the more dangerous missions?)

We lost one F117 and one F16.

BTW - what media was saying that none were shot down?
