In August of 1991 two major gun manufacturers were given contracts with the US Special Operations Command for the development of an offensive handgun weapon system or OHWS. The OHWS had to consist of a .45 cal. pistol, a laser aiming module and a suppressor. What is the name of the two gun manufactures who received these contracts?

A report by Evangelical Alliance published this week says "violent revolution" should be regarded as a viable response if government legislation encroaches on their religious rights. The church is urged to come to a consensus that "at some point there is not only the right but the duty to disobey the state." Full document is available on web -"Faith and Nation"

This church has 30 million members and is training their children to be soldiers - "Jesus Camp"

Here is the law regarding such a criminal threat to the nation:

One of my most kind and sweet friends is gay. I don't understand why he shouldn't be able to marry his partner. He does good things, he is a sweet and loving person, and yet ppl stare at him and say he is going to hell. How can anyone as wonderful as he is go to hell, when he has done so much good? And Why should he be denied a basic human right?

In one ad they had a sexy voiced woman act like a sex hot line babe. The Democrat in question had an aide misdial a number to
Washington DC. Same number only wrong area code. The mistake cost tax payers $1.25. The ad made it look like the candidate had called a sex line number when he had not, and of course the Republicans knew it. He had not spent taxpayers money talking to a 1 800 sex babe. The Republicans ran an ad with a blond white woman saying " call me" to senator to be Harold Ford, implying that being black, all he wanted to do was to have sex with a white woman. How much more racist can you get? Finally, they ran an ad that said that democrats wanted to abort black babies. Democrats have had their share of attack ads as well, but the Republicans are masters at it. That is why they are in power. Republicans claim to be the party of moral authority. Can this be true when they will say anything to cling to power?

Is it legal?

I'd like to buy about 24 (at $3.99 a dozen) and sell them each for a dollar. The profit will go towards a school club.

It would be sold during a school event. But is this legal? I need to know before undertaking such a task.

I live northern Minnesota and I cannot find anything on this matter. Just kinda curious if anyone could point me in the right direction. My land hooks up with another township and I don't know if I have any legal right to prevent anyone from traveling or using my property line to just do whatever it is that they want to do. If anyone could help me get on the right track, I would be much abliged.

I'm talking about proposition 87 that some people are saying that if it is passed then nothing will get done with the tax money they collect from the oil companies. I think an opinion like that just doesn't make any sense. And if it don't make sense then it is probably not true. Vote yes on 87.....

It's true that many neoconservatives are Jewish (Irving Kristol, Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, David Wurmser, Elliot Abrams....

Yet neoconservatives Cheney, Rumsfield, Libby, John Bolton are * not* Jewish. I'm not sure what religion they are, but there are sure a lot of Christian voters who have been snookered by them. Here's hoping that doesn't happen again tomorrow.

So I can object to neoconservatism without being called an antisemite, can't I?

77 percent of Jews voted for Kerry in the last election. There's probably at least a couple in that group who would rant against neoconservatives.

You wouldn't call THEM antiSemites, would you?

I bet the late Senator of Minnesota, Paul Wellstone, wouldn't call me an antiSemite for expressing these views. He was a Jew, and one of the VERY few Senators who had the guts to stand up to Bush and say "No" to the war in Iraq.

Are YOU a Jew who is disgusted with neoconservatism, too?
If so, I'd like to hear from you

so this is the thing: say that someone murdered another and pleads in court and the judge asks "do u plead guilty or not guilty", if he said guilty, then he lives, if not guilty, then he dies. I dont understand the logic behind that. So if u admit to a crime, the sentence is less harsh, why? You still did the crime, and if there is a death penalty, one should recieve it no matter what. What if the person is not guilty and pleads that? he's basically screwed, is he not? Who difference does it make what you plead, it doesnt change anything. Is it just me or are the courts corrupt in this matter?
