ok, so i hear on the news tonight the republican campaign has set up auto dialers to call voters and repeat the Democratic candidate's name repeatedly in the first 20 seconds of the message, then when the voter hangs up, keep calling back.

i helped with the phone from home campaign for webb and had at least two people yell AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS that "you people keep calling me and stop calling me". since we have an automated web-enabled system that is impossible unless coincidentally 5 or so different phone from home staff happened to push the same wrong button on these same individuals -- probability: .000000001 in a trillion

So should the RNCC simply be fined $500 per criminal call, according to current law, or should they be forced to forfeit won elections if fraud can be proven?

p.s. this is a voter issue, not a dem vs. gop issue

I think the fine should be much higher and with at least some jail time... Then they should have to pay to see how many people who were harassed want to change their votes.

Can you prove it? I mean prove who is behind it? There has been a rash of campaign workers who go in, sabotage an effort and then leave, on both sides. We are on the "do not call" list but have had calls from both parties just the same. I think everyone is sick of mud and dirty tricks, they should pass a law the next campaigning has to be about ISSUES and showing the candidates actually have a PLAN and Platform other than "we are not the opposition party". And they need to get serious about voter fraud, like digging up and driving a stake through the heart of every dead voter in Chicago and anywhere else it's a problem.

This may be "a voter issue, not a dem vs. gop issue," but from your previous questions, you are definatly not unbiased.

What about the more blatent issue in Kansas City, MO where 4 from the liberal ACORN organization are actually charged with voter registration fraud?

It appears there is fraud on both sides.

You cannot just forfeit a won election. That would be choosing the winner despite the will of the people. That has only been done once before by the Supreme Court in 2000 and look how horrible that turned out.

That will be the only way Webb beats Allen, and thank God that will never happen.

Do you have a link to back up this accusation?
