All we have to do is change the rules. Bring back the tariffs that Reagan weakened. The corporations want to set up shop overseas no problem more power to you, but if you want to bring your goods back it will cost you to the point that they will have to set up in both countries or just stay here. Right now if China wants to ship and sell a car in American they pay 2% tariff but if we want to sell cars in China we pay 20% tariff and in S. Korea we let them sell cars here but we can`t sell cars there. How is this fair trade?

Can't you multi-task? We can work on more than one thing at a time!! I have already e-mailed my reps. in my state to let them know how I feel about the way we were duped into NAFTA! We don't want 'freetrade' and we D@MN sure don't want this super highway opened up from the tip of S. Am., cutting across the USA and going halfway around the world, bringing in all kinds of who knows what in "products" and in people "truckdrivers from south of the U.S."They won't even have a checkpoint until they reach Kansas City!! They'll already be in the USA! This has got to stop!! You can work on more than one issue at a time! It's not illegal, you know.

IAMCT01 - you are right!! Those countries should pay as much as we do in tariffs!

Instead lets take a short cut . inform people about the growing disappearance o f the middle class due to the avarice and greed of the rich and stop blaming illegal immigrants from the South for our problems.

There is no desire to end Illegals. It would be easy to stop by just fining employers. No job no immigrants. The Bush people and republicans in general have systematically worked to end unions in this country! As we are now a corporate global economy, the corporations want no borders for their profits, want all wages to go down, benefit legislation to end, pensions to be voided and wage slavery to be everywhere, except for themselves. Welcome to the new age. We used to be the govt.,not anymore. The govt. is owned by international corporations who will not allow the intent of your question. It is wake up, or work for the lowest possible wages.
