I keep hoping that the American people with get fed up with Bush and his cronies and charge them with impeachable offenses. Might just happen after tomorrow.

I have voted, mainly because I was raised that voting is very important and part of being a good citizen. I also vote because I see how difficult it is for other people to vote freely in other countries.
Sadly, after seeing what happened in Ohio and Florida for example many Americans feel that their votes do not count so they do not even bother to vote.
I will be very surprized if there is a 40 percent voter turnout for today's elections.
P.S. While I am not 'faithful' in any real sense, I will play an old Kate Smith song today for the USA.....call me sentimental.

I've got nothing to lose by voting. If the electronic voting machines are being manipulated by the Bush adminstration, I hope a Republican that doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell gets elected. That way they'll get busted for perpetrating such a diabolical act.

I used to believe that my vote didn't count because I was just one person in a sea of many. However, my perspective has changed largely in part because of the war. If everyone felt the same way, we'd never have a representative of the people in office. In addition, many people have died, been injured, etc. just to have the right to vote. To not vote would mean that the efforts of these people would be in vain.

Our votes do count number -- the priority is that maximum persons vote for the lesser of both evils, or do in basic terms not vote in any respect. If everyone who felt that way actual voted for the candidate they believed in, we'd want to get out of this cycle of Presidents who in basic terms care about themselves, and not in any respect the human beings who voted them in. it isn't a wasted vote in case you vote for the candidate you quite position self assurance in, that is in basic terms a wasted vote in case you vote for someone who's customary in basic terms because they are the "lesser of both evils". I is in basic terms not transferring if Hillary wins, yet I do want a replace from corrupt politicians who in basic terms care about money and capacity. it really is why i'd be vote casting for Ron Paul in 2008. he's the only candidate who will placed the yank human beings first, and not in any respect huge organizations or particular pursuits.

Probably not; I vote Democrat in a heavily Democrat-controlled region.
Nevertheless, I would still vote; conceding to a bully only makes him stronger. Who cares if someone stole your vote if you didn't vote in the first place? I honestly believe that--while the electoral system is nowhere near perfect--there are no overwhelming conspiracies in play. However, if vote swiping is in play, it would be those that voted, those that participated who will be sought to carry the banner for voting reform; they are the one who actually care.
Vote. Never let one man shake you from doing what's right.

The Bush administration has already prepared press releases explaining why results were contrary to what was expected because of problems with late absentee ballots (didn't arrive by tomorrow evening...).
I expect, particularly knowing the people involved in my county, that my absentee ballot which I mailed off two weeks ago will arrive late or get lost.
