Ford (D-Tenn) also called for him to apologize.

He's done folks, put a fork in him. No more presidential bid. He'll be lucky if they don't run him out of town.

Now that Hillary has given him the thumbs down, he's done.

Agree?

Why do people use the deaths of American soldiers as a step up onto their democratic liberal soapboxes? Most of the guys I was deployed with voted to keep Bush in office. And I have never once heard a soldier complain about doing the job that they signed up for. We don't have a dog in this fight, so why does everyone see fit to use us as examples of why Bush sucks?

Does he just pretend to be conservative to make conservatives sound stupid? If so, he is doing a brilliant job of it.

As stupid as Kerry's "joke" was, he's not running for re-election and even if he was, there is nothing he could say that would get Massachusetts to vote him out. Ted Kennedy. Nuff said.

Does anyone really believe that any voter out there is going to change their mind about their candidate based on something some nutbag loser says?

Face it, nothing has changed. Kerry's a moron, so is Bush, and the Dems are still going to win back the congress.

Can your precious GOP moralists BE any more hypocritical?

I just answered a question about Kerry making our country look bad, and I was just wondering, since some on the right are worried about how we look to the rest of the world, do you think that John Kerry (a failed presidential candidate) or Iraq (a failed Bush war) makes us look worse?

Would this not be a better solution than a. letting people in but not having jobs for them so they are supported by the welfare state and b. letting/not letting them in on a nationality basis (ie Australians can get working visas easily for the UK whilst Indians, for example, can't)? For instance, you could visit a country on a tourist visa and if you could prove you had found a job there you could stay. (Of course asylum seekers are a different matter and would still be allowed in without the job offer).

I worked in Australia (I'm British) and found the system ridiculous as I couldn't legally work unless a company sponsored me (which is a big commitment for any company). But anyone can get round this by registering with a (legitimate) private agency set up to offer sponsorship to foreigners with a job offer (at a cost).

With the recent escalation in Iraqi violence, most accept the fact that terrorists are trying to influence the elections.

Many groups from other conflicts in the past have staged similar and successful attacks in order to force the replacement of the elected officials of their enemy.

If this is the case, why would you want to vote for who our enemy wants us to vote for? It seems pretty obvious that terrorists see more opportunity with Democrats in office as opposed to Republicans. Any thoughts?
