As stupid as Kerry's "joke" was, he's not running for re-election and even if he was, there is nothing he could say that would get Massachusetts to vote him out. Ted Kennedy. Nuff said.

Does anyone really believe that any voter out there is going to change their mind about their candidate based on something some nutbag loser says?

Face it, nothing has changed. Kerry's a moron, so is Bush, and the Dems are still going to win back the congress.

No.

And just a comment...I can't wait until these elections are over. I'm tired of the meaningless political questions where people think that their opinion is the only correct one.

Democrats are too busy falling all over themselves making excuses for Kerry's idiocy, much in the same way they knee-padded for Clinton so many times, excusing what any thoughtful person would recognize as inexcusable behavior.

I cannot even begin to imagine what level of outrageous oratory or depravity of action it would require for the Democrats to oust one of their own.

They can diddle 17 year old pages, they can have affairs with staffers and aids and even accidently kill them, they can be members of the KKK, they can lie outrageously under oath, they can cheat, commit treason, steal, drive drunk, etc without the least negative consequence from the Dems.

So calling the military idiots, which most Dems already believe, is insignificant.

Oh, yeah, to support the war on terror - that cost Lieberman the nomination - that's the one truly horrible thing a Democrat can do.

No the republicans will use this as a diversion to take the publics attention off of Iraq, I think that their is no direct plan on this war, which is sad as so many people have lost their lives and they never did get the man that they were so intent on getting, I guess like father like son....And Yes Kerry is a fool, jokes obviously do not work in his favor

Sure, it could, but probably won't. However, it's not just this one "nutbag", politicians are constantly making fools out of themselves. Look at Howard Dean, he's the supreme nutbag, and to some people he's the face of t he Democratic Party. Whew! Scary. Hopefully people will vote for the man instead of the party.

Kerry just cost the election for the Dems b/c noticed no Dems has come out to agree/disagree with Kerry. They are keeping quiet b/c they don't want to ruin themselves even more. Rock on Kerry and thanks for helping the Republicans win the election!!!!!!!!

Several Democrats have already asked John Kerry to stay away from them, and of course Kerry had to cancel his campaign visits because of his remarks, so yes, the Democrats will hurt from his remarks

Things like this actually remind people of what America would be like if democrats were in charge. People do not want terrorists training camps set up in America, that is why the Republicans always win.

There are a lot of people undecided about this election, events like this can easily push them in the other direction. What he said defintaly won't help the Dm party out at all.

Lumping Kerry in with Bush is a disservice to Kerry. But I otherwise agree with you.

I think this will remind the voters of the anti-military sentiment of the Democrats and it will cost them some votes.
