electoral college that takes away our individual vote anyway? so, what's the point? may as well just go to a straight dictatorship or crown bill gates and declare him king.... what ever happened to the dream that any kid could grow up and be president?...certainly no kid without money ever could...

I have no confidence that our vote counts after my 4 year study on voter fraud, years work as a voting rights activist, ease with which the machines can be hacked without seeing the sourcecode (which we don't) and this kills me since I from a kid of 10 in the 50's loved politics And always voted. I was taught about our wonderful democracy which I no longer believe exists.

Still I vote..because the more people that vote dem the harder it is to get away with vote fraud (and explaining away wrong exit polls which are historically extremely accurate...that is the more people that vote, the higher the chance the vote will be democrat) though it will still be rigged, the soil is more fertile for discovering vote fraud and lawsuits.

Also because people died for the right for me to vote and I feel it is my sacred duty even though it is stolen from me electronically.
We must be true to our character and country.

But I highly recommend being involved in other ways as an activist, informing people of voter fraud and glitches, participating in citizen run parallel elections at the polls and recording proceedings and helping as a poll-worker.

Also call your congressman and ask then to cosign and support house bill (HB 6200) to make all future presidential elections be paper ballots hand counted at the precinct to restore the true will of the people and transparency..doing this will do more than voting will.

It is not always money. It may appear that way because America is driven by marketing ... of everything ... and candidates are no exception. Electoral college is NOT a problem but a help. Otherwise the nation would be an uncontrollable democracy based on two large population centers in NY and CA. Nobody else would count. That is why the US government is NOT a DEMOCRACY but a REPUBLIC (with democratic principles). To be precise ... a Federated Collection of Indpendent States (Federal) Republic. Kids will never be president, rich or poor. It takes a long time to become an adult in current earth years. Reagan was a poor kid, as was Ford and Nixon. Their net worth was (like most people) improved only later in life. Carter came from a relatively well off farm family but they were not "rich". The Bush's were indeed wealthy .. and are now. But names are tossed around now like Condaleza Rice for president. Not from a rich family at all. Yes a kid without money can dream of being president even today. I think the older you get though, the more most people realize it AIN'T all its cracked up to be. It is often not a happy occupation for any number of reasons. It would be helpful to the country of course, if you would vote Republican. After all they have had some limited power for under a decade while the democrats had major - overpowering - superiority in numbers for about 70 years. The last 15 years have periodically allowed some marginal republican power but nowhere close to the power held by the democrats for a 70 year period from 1930.

Actually the Electoral College ensures that each state has a fair representation. It is the best way to carry out the voting process. And money doesn't mean victory, remember Ross Perot.

Well, we could make individual money going to candidates tantamount to Bribery, and require that all money for political campaigns be kept in a single account until election season, when it will be divided equally among all qualified candidates. That would fix some problems, and bypass other limitations that have been brought up by lawmakers in the past.

You seem to have nothing better to do with your life but to write rants about how much you hate life and government in general. Maybe you should find a hobby? At least venture outside of your trailer once in a while I believe that a bit of sunlight might do you good.
