So, my friend's boyfriend could possibly have fathered a child with his ex. His ex was always telling him that she was pregnant and then she would have a miscarriage. Before they broke up for the last time she told him again that she was pregnant, then a couple days later she wasn't anymore. Then she calls him telling him that she had a baby and that it was his. She expects money from him to support the child. I understand that if he is the father then he most definitely will have to take responsibility. But he hasn't been able to see this kid and hasn't had a DNA test to actually prove it. Both my friend and I are suspicious as to whether there really is a kid. What would be his rights? Would it be wise for him to call an attorney and find out?

When you have a failure to appear bench warrant, how serious is it? The person was out on bond at the time of missing the court hearing. Will the FBI be looking for him? Or just the bond company? He was charged with a felony but not as a violent crime. I think was for a bad check or fraud, he was never clear on exactly what he has done. Does the local agency that arrested him send his information to the FBI so that he will be flagged if he was ever fingerprinted?

Does the bench warrant ever expire? Is it possible for him to get a job that does a background through the FBI database and still pass?

(Just being nosey, but would appreicate honest answers)

Lets face it with religous lobbying groups being some of the most powerful. And most politicians being religous, Church and state are not separated. Its about time they should be taxed like any other enterprise.

I recieved a parking ticket for parking in a handicapped spot. I didn't mean to but hey I know that's no excuse. The officer wrote the wrong date on the ticket. It was issued on 10/19 but he wrote 12/19 on the ticket. Is there any way I could fight this and not have to pay the $301.00 fine?

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Half of all Americans believe most members of Congress are corrupt -- a figure that has risen 12 points since the start of the year -- and more than a third think their own representative is crooked, according to a new poll released Thursday by CNN.

I have proof that they are letting CEO's make foreign affairs decisions on my website, www.auctionfindit.com

This is for my debate class. I need help on what are some good reasons that it is a good idea to pass "surveillance" by the government. I just debated the negative side. Now I need some help with the opposite side. Please give me some good philosophers, values, contentions, and anything else! Thanks!

I've heard this analysis reported on several news networks, and I was wondering what Democrats think about the possibility that Iraq's insurgents want them to win the elections. Is this a sign that the insurgents think they can win in Iraq with the Democrats in charge of Congress?

Rep. Ray LaHood (news, bio, voting record), R-Ill., some members have indicated that they would terminate the page service after almost 200 years of tradition. As LaHood explained, "We should not subject young men and women to this kind of activity, this kind of vulnerability." When asked whether he was suggesting that his colleagues cannot be trusted with children, he responded, "Well, that's pretty obvious."

John Kennedy was the only acception and religious figures such as Billy Grayham rallied other Protestant ministers behind him to vote against Kennedy in fear that the Pope would run the country.
What religious Hypocrisy.
If an Episcople person were elected would there be a fear of the Queen or Archbishop of Canterbury running the country?
No name calling please. Look at the Presidents from George Washington to the Present President and saying they were the best people for the job doesn't wash. Let the record speak for itself. Wasps are not always the best people for the job.

SC/ST/OBC consists of 15%,7.5% & 32% appprox. Remaining 45% upper casts are not being supported by any party. By virtue of their sincre and dedicated efforts, this group holds best brains, donate maximumm amount to politicians, & others still there is none to ensure their due space. Reservation benefits only to INCOMPETENT & deserving GEMS among SC/ST/OBC have to suffer the stigma of reservation. SC/ST/OBC creamy layer is trying to snatch the benifits of real deserving SC/ST/OBC who are suffering due to poorness, illiteracy &no opportunity. It is also encouraging of migraton of BEST BRAINS (engineers doctors, mbas &others) from the country. Ultimately BEST BRAIN WILL MOVE OUT OF THE CONTRY.

Dave Barry is a popular humorist for the Miami Herald. He's about as inoffensive as they come. Here is the quote:

"As Americans, we must always remember that we all have a common enemy, an enemy that is dangerous, powerful and relentless. I refer, of course, to the federal government."

The quote was on an office door and was taken down b/c someone found it "patently offensive"

The article goes on to say that the hallway was not a "free speech zone" Is anyone else disturbed by that phrase? Is that what it's come to?
