Someone here asked a question if people know that 250 Palestinians were killed under Israeli occupation in the last four months and there was an answer "pity its only 250... I was hoping for a lot more" and he got three thumbs up.
Can please someone explain how they can make such a statement?

In this week's Prime Minister's Questions session in the House of Commons one speaker posed a question to the Prime Minister in which he quoted a foreign direct investment index and made the point that the U.K. was at the top of that index, above both the U.S.A. and China. Which report/index is this from? Where can I find it?

Should Bush be impeached and removed from office due to his opposing political ideals (than what the Dems share)?
Or has he legitimately broken the law? Keep in mind President Clinton broke the law and was impeached for his crime, but wasn't removed from office solely because of his political party strength.

i was driving in a closed community where they have their own security and regulations, and pretty much ive been going there for about a year, and recently i went 28 mph in a 15 mph zone and they caught me and gave me a ticket, they said i have two choices in regards to the ticket.

One, i pay $100 fine for the ticket
Or
Two, i schedule an appointment(which i did) and present my case in a panel of people who will decide whether to charge me the fine or not.

PLEASE I NEED HELP IN WHAT SHOULD I SAY AND DEFEND MYSELF SO I DONT GET THE FINE(i dont have the money to pay it)??

should i deny that i was speeding even though i got caught in the radar?? or persuade them in some way??

What would individuality matter in a world where a person who shows dissent is labeled "terrorist"?

"Phantom rule, the hidden jewel who's really in control?
On puppet strings, a nation swings undermined by moles"

Looking back, I have been abused for suggesting the similarities by NEOCONS here. Now, I find the President is agreeing with me.

Seems like us Liberals have an angle on reality whilst the Conservatives bury their heads until they are forced to accept it.

From the AP Wire:

Presidential spokesman Tony Snow said a suggestion to divide Iraq into Sunni, Shiite and Kurdish regions, each with high degrees of autonomy, was a "nonstarter."

Why is the White House telling the Iraqi government what they can and cannot do?

It's very brave of daddy to sign up, but how inconvenient as Ricahrd and I are about to attend a museum exhibition with cheese and wine. It might be too late when we come to collect him, and I daren't ask Onslow to collect him in broad daylight as Mrs. Barker-Finch might see them. Is he still British?

The economy is as strong as it ever was. Unemployment is at an all-time low. There are more people who own their own homes than ever before. The country has withstood any further attacks after 9/11. There's so much to be proud of these last 6 years.

Is the war not going as well as we thought and the Foley scandal really enough to unseat the people that have put all those positives into place?

When I say negative things about surveillance cameras in public or the government expanding its right to monitor us on the internet, I get the same response from a lot of people. "If you're not doing anything wrong why would you care?" or "I have nothing to hide."

I have nothing to hide either. I am not against these things because I am trying to protect criminals. I am against them because they're wrong. This is susposed to be a free country. The governemnt should trust its citizenry enough that it doesn't need to monitor its every action.

With the speed that technology is advancing, I don't think people are aware of how quickly things will change. Soon it will be possible to track where a person is at all times, very easily, every manufactured item will have tracking chips in them. Insurance companies will convince their customers to have chips implanted in their arms.

Will these things help fight crime? Perhaps for a while. Until the criminals find ways to work around them.

That 1.1 of 1.4 million people are only surviving through the benevolence of the UN?

That the area is on the verge of collapse and civil war?

That the war on terror is only believed by those lacking discernment, because more terrorists are being created under these circumstances.

What makes me think this is a calculated strategy by those who wish to hold the world to ransom?
