we have law to keep order, cause without the laws and the government we would be at war with our neighbours and also if you campaign hard enough you could change the law to do with animal cruelty, old peoples bus passes, abolish the pensions, or check that the funds going into education trusts are used for schools and colleges and not for people to use on different things like trying to build more houses and also keeping high standards in education. The laws are here for our own protection

because without laws or rules we would have anarchy the laws are just rules we have to follow to have a good life and to protect those who are vulnerable and you and me and even the criminals some laws are good some are great some are stupid but they give you guidance go down the right road

I suggest you read John Locke. The main reason we need law and government is settling disputes. It is easy to see that if we put justice in the hands of the people involved they might be less than impartial and let their friends off and perhaps use the opportunity to be severe to their enemies.
